Marsha: congrats on your steady weight loss. You are doing great! I too

will be thrilled to live as long as my mother (almost 98),. She actually

did pretty well, independent til the age of 97 1/2, with only occasional

flare ups of arthritis. until the last 7 months of her life when it all went

downhill. At that point (as my husband likes to say) I'd like to call in

Dr. Kevorkian, or give me a pink pill to put me out of my misery.

OTOH, my father died relatively young and I lost both brothers in their

60's.
