Guest guest
Hi everyone! I guess I'm new to the group. I am also in the entertaining profession. I am a singer. Now, being an LP has I guess put me into more of a limelight I should say. There is nothing better then getting on stage and holding the microphone and having the audience in the palm of your hand. I love to sing. Now, to those people who look at me differently because of who I am, I just plain show them what I got and try to ignore any comments that might be made. One time I was singing and this old woman walked up to my mother and said " that lady isn't singing, she is lip-sincing! " , well needless to say my mother put her in her place. The old lady did not know she was my mom. ===== Donna Rae __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Seems to be good news this morning Chuck - the barriers held up to stop the severe flooding, but there is a lot of damage it seems. Do your refugeesmknow whether their home is OK or not? Luv - Sheila If I don't respond to questions for awhile, there is no issue. I simply have to entertain some refugees from the Louisiana coast, some in-laws. Since the damage in their area was not too severe, they should be able to head back south in a day or two.Best,Chuck No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com Version: 8.0.169 / Virus Database: 270.6.14/1645 - Release Date: 01/09/2008 07:

Do your refugeesmknow whether their home is OK or not? Thanks. We haven't received confirmation yet, but they live in Lake , which was far enough west to miss the highest winds. Their home was destroyed when Rita hit that area, the same autumn that Katrina demolished New Orleans. The news said they evacuated two million people from the coast, but there were only about 65,000 in shelters. That leaves a lot of people fending for themselves. The hotels were all jammed, and our guests did not find a room until the middle of Oklahoma. We're glad to have an unscheduled visit, though.
