I would be using Vita Syrup and pounding in the protien in any form. I also

would be giving him/her Wheat Germ and Vitamin E oil. You can get that at TSC

or any feed supply.

I breed dachshunds and pekingese and they need the oil and protiens to heal.

( I don't want him to gain much because it would make too much weight for the

hips) however I do want him to get some muscle he is weak, he is ahppy and loves

to go for walks and plays with our other dog ( chase around the trees) . do you

all think WHEY would help him build a little muscle strength? Jo

rub msm cream or co on him too. The Kong with pb was a very good idea .

The reason dogs lick grass is to get the MSM that came with the

rainfall , they do it after a fresh rain .

Vita Syrup is a liquid vitamin my vet gives me for new moms. It is one packed

batch. TSC is short for Tractor Supply Company. A feed store or a store that

cators to farmers and ranchers. Wheat germ and vitamin e is a regular in the

diet of horses and dogs. It is around $16. for a 1/2 gallon there and a pet

store it is more like $16 for 4 oz. LOL Commercialism stricks again.
