Guest guest
From Coconut Cures It is in the 'Coconut cures' book I'll give you some snippets from the book This is a powerful cleansing program and is ideal for correcting all types of digestive problems. This cleanse aids the body in rebalancing the environment within the intestines and healing damaged tissues. Systemic candida infections(candidiasis), inflammatory bowel diseases, leaky gut syndrome, and other conditions involving the digestive system are notoriously difficult to treat using conventional and even alternative approaches. Treatments last for months and may not be completely successful despite strict adherence to the various programs. The Coconut Oil Detox is the most effective method i have seen to rebalance the digestive system and get it functioning normally again. It is far superior to a simple water fast or even a juice fast, as this contains sugar. In a nutshell Basically you take 10 to 14 tablespoons a day. You can make a sugarless lemonade and take 2 tablespoons in that or straight off the spoon. You can also eat upto 4oz fresh coconut a day and can have some unsweetened live yogurt. And plenty of water. Don't take oil to near bedtime may keep you awake. The mcfa will kill all the bad stuff and create an hostile environment without killing any good bacteria etc. You may expel nasty stuff like broken masses of fungus. Can be done 3 to 7 days or longer and will help with most problems. or several 3 day cleanses. He does say you should prepare for several weeks first by eating healthily and giving up tea coffee ect. If you have serious health problems check with doctor first. I do recommend you get the book. It tells you how to make the lemonade etc. but this gives you the gist of what it's all about. The oil nourishes you and helps you from feeling hungry and giving you energy without adding any sugar. It might be a problem if you can't get that much coconut oil down though. Guest guest
Really, 12-14 TBSP of coconut oil a day? The real 7-Day Detox described in a book of the same name(by N.D., Chief Medical Officer, Helios Clinic, Barrie N.D. Great Smokies Diagnostic Laboratory founder, with Sara Faye) is better rooted in science. The real 7-day detox supports the main organ of detoxification, the liver; this is precisely where the coconut oil detox fails. How can you detox without supporting the detox? The answer? Here's the liver function chapter; you'll need to know this: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/liver_function.html Note that if you were to release enough toxins to cause a Herxheimer-Jarisch effect, that's a toxic reaction that is best neutralised with liver support. Glutathione increase is the chief liver support. Coconut oil does not increase glutathione so lacks the necessary liver support. I think the coconut oil detox is a fallacy. all good, Duncan > > http://www.coconut-oil-central.com/coconut-oil-detox.html > > Check this out. > > Thanks, > > C. >
