Guest guest
Since you start from fresh shredded coconut meat, why do you need a juicer? Just press the shredded meat in a clean towel for extracting milk, then mix the remaining pulp with a glass of very hot water, and press again. That's it! what's the best juicer to make coconut milk? hi all, I love coconut milk and have been making my own homemade vco recently cos it's impossible to find vco in my area but easy to buy fresh shredded coconut meat. I decide to get a juicer but not sure which one is best suitable to make coconut milk and in need from your experienced folks advise. I've been searching up and down in this list regarding the best juicer for this job but couldn't find a definate answer. I realised that Green Star juicer is capable of making coconut milk but it's quite expensive. Is Omega 8003 suitable for making coconut milk from fresh shredded coconut meat? I just need a juicer to make my coconut milk. Sorry to be OT here. Thanks in advance for any inputs and suggestions. Gordon
Guest guest
Back before I was diagnosed diabetic, I could drink coconut water (too many carbs for me now). I used to cut a fresh coconut up into cubes, put them in my vitamix blender along with the coconut water & make ino a slurry, which I then ran thru my Champion juicer. I would run the pulp thru the champion juicer a second time to get out as much liquid as possible. Very yummy!
