Okay i'm sorry if i misjudged him. I have only been on this list for a few months. I know i don't have to buy it(whey) as someone else pointed out, and surely it is common sense to question if someone is giving advice and telling you others are wrong. I'm not saying i agree with everything Mckeith says, i am not a vegan, i eat meat, eggs, fish etc so get protein. I liked the idea she was getting nutrients from living foods not supplements, except powders like BGA and Barleygrass which you have to buy from hfs or website. Maybe her 12 superfoods are out of date, Holford still says to take flax so this info is obviously old, but he does mention coconut oil. The overall diet she suggests though is basic nutrition without the meat and fish etc. ie fruit, veg, wholegrains, nuts, seeds, femented products; beans, sea veg, sprouted grains, seeds etc which i eat anyway, except for fresh sprouts at the moment. I want to know what is wrong with sunflower seeds for example that Duncan pointed out. He said coconut oil instead of sunflower seeds. I do eat vco already so Why not both. Some one said olive oil wasn't that great either recently, i contested that, on the front page of paper today they said scientists found that eating 4 teaspoons a day kept certain cancers at bay. If i can find it on line i will post it. Back to the whey issue I saw a great big tub of whey in my hfs window reduced today and was tempted to try it but still concerned. I do need to build muscle but can't exercise much because of back and neck problems so is this suitable for someone like me. Athletes and body builders use it don't they and i worry there is too much protein in it. Also the high calcium issue worries me too. I just want some more convincing its for everyone no matter what problems they have.
