Where do you get these rose quartz stones? I find that if I don't take the

hydrocortosone at night I can't sleep so having sufficient adrenal hormone in

your system is vital to getting a good night sleep. Otherwise your nervous

system is uneasy. Loni

my adrenals are spiffing up. Dont' get dizzy anymore from

standing up from reclining position (one sign of adrenal fatigue),

and have a quicker recovery time from really knocking myself

out (like multiple days off getting up much earlier than usual

for conferences). It has taken, and is taking, much much longer

than I had hoped and really have patience for.

I think a lot of the AF products, like the glandulars and such, can be

helpful, but also can just prop up the adrenals and not really refurbish

them.

Adrenals love nettles. Get the loose stuff and make an infusion, simmering

(not full on boiling) 20 minutes, steep 10, strain. Lots of minerals, and

good

for bones, too.

I wholeheartedly agree with Giles, too, about doing QiGong. It is probably

the easiest, cheapest, most efficacious thing that we can do to tonify our

body's energy system, build stamina, and increase resilience. I'm banking

on it curing me of ES (after I get these pesky amalgams outtta my mouth!).

Dr. (Mehmet) Oz even said so on Oprah a few years ago when she asked

when what he thought the one thing people could do to improve their health.

Hi Loni,

 

I bought mine online--but you have to do your homework.  Some places say they

are natural and that is not necessarily true.  I would rather go to a local

dealer in stones, but the closest I know of is 500 miles away.  lol  In

Arizona, New Mexico, etc you should have places that sell local natural stones

to the public, Loni.  If you ask there, you will probably get a good price and

great quality, since you are looking for " therapeutic stones " , not stones for

jewelry.  These are usually in tourist towns.

Good to hear you are doing better!! Can i ask what adrenal/thyroid homeopathics

you use and where you got them? or did you get a specific prescription from a

homeopath tailored to your own needs?

This may be a stupid question but.....how do you know that your adrenals are not healed? Do you have symptoms that would indicate sick adrenals? I don't have a clue if my adrenals are struggling and I can't afford tests right now....did you know after tests or are there physical signs.

if your temp is not stable,you have adrenal problems.if you do not tolerate stress.

you can also lay and messure bp when you stand up and it is not higher or even lower you have adrenal fatigue

I like my cortef or HC--it is cheap and I take it 4X a day, last dose at

bedtime. I also drink coffee in the a.m. no problem. I like coffee too :)

Gracia,

My Dr wanted to give me Cortef. I declined because I was fearful of taking a

steroid in any form

since I have Lyme and fungus/molds are always present when there is Lyme

disease. Is the cortef a small enough dose that you feel it does not increase

the possibility of yeast flaring?

Does anyone know if increased potassium supplimentation like in prune juice will

help adrenal fatigue? Or if thier are other very basic foods we can incorporate

into a daily diet, fruits, or veggies tohelp with adrenal fatiue. I don't have a

budget to buy suppliments right now? And I have temp. problems as well.

Lots of good fats, preferably raw for dairy fats. Beiler's broth is very good for adrenals. Linn

Original Bieler Recipe

1 pound of string beans

2 pounds zucchini

a hand full of curly parsley

enough water to cover your veggies

Into rapidly boiling water add above and boil for 10-15 min until

fork goes thru outside of zucchini, puree using the water you cooked it in and make it the consistency you desire.

Uses: The original recipe was developed

by Maverick Physician Henry Bieler to heal a variety of illnesses's.

Many times the soup was used as a fast.Explanation:

Dr. Bieler would take a detailed study of the patients endocrine

glands. This includes the adrenal glands, pituitary gland and the

thyroid gland. Dr. Bieler would then prescribed a dietary cure. The

cure depended up the the glands which where dysfunctional. The cure

would be a limited diet, or even a fast on Bieler's broth. The

vegetables are like nature's vitamins, and restore such elements as

potassium, and sodium to our glands. Dr. Bieler was particularly

interested in restoring the liver as a way to health.

Modifications to the Recipe These

are some possibilities of how to modify the Bieler's soup. This can be

if you are not treating intensely a specific health condition. Create

your own variety of healing vegetable soup based on your own personal

needs and desires.

Add Carrots

Add several stocks of Celery

Add Kale or potatoes

Add raw butter or cream to the soup after cooking

Add miso when the soup is warm

Omit Parsley for breastfeeding women

Do you have the unrefined salt that is a part of the iodine protocol? Vit

C and unrefined salt is the main treatment for adrenals. If you already

have those, bump up your intake on both, throughout the day.

When I drink caff. i have really bad hypoglicemia, have to eatfrequently, get severe stomache/gas pains when I don't eat every three to four hours, and my adrenals ache when hungry..And I have a lot of afternoon fatigue.When I quit caffiene all of those symptoms dissappear.And dizziness when standing gets better too. Adrenal fatigue due to low levels of hormones being secreted from the adrenal cortex :

low cortisol which controls blood sugar and sleep patterns,

low aldosterone which regulate sodium /potassium,

and low androgen/estrogens which regulate sex drive and development.

If you are low in aldosterone you will retain extra potassium. You would not want to go out of your way to ingest more. However you would benefit from taking liberal amounts of sea salt, as you will be secreting to much salt from your kidneys. The salt and drinking extra water will help keep blood volume up.

Signs of this problem could be low blood volume, which causes a person to get dizzy and possibly pass out upon standing, increased muscle weakness, especially in the legs/back, intermittent nausea or stomach aches, possible bouts of blurred vision , inflammation in the body which can result in arthritis like pain anywhere in the body or pain deep into bone sockets, but also muscular pain as well, carpal tunnel, fungal issues, bouts of diarrhea, possible pain around the ribs or under the rib area, and heart area pain or pressure,(with a EKG test coming out fine) feeling like you are having difficulty breathing at times, feeling "ill" when blood sugar is low and you haven't eaten in a while , a euphoric/hysteric feeling (blood sugar surge) after eating, inability to handle stress, anger issues and crying jags, inability to fall asleep easily and frequent night waking around the clock, morning fatigue, chronic fatigue, ear pain and excessive wax.

Licorice and B5 (and salt) can help support adrenals for this particular problem ('s). Raw virgin coconut oil can help make a precursor to sex hormones.

If a person's steroid hormone secretion is very low, or injury happens , it can be life threatening. Sometimes it would not be wise to self treat adrenal problems and they should be put on a monitored prednisone by a doctor. Not that I trust doctors but if a person took too much of a corticoid or steroid hormone they can cause a swing the other way (cushings disease.) and then still be ill!

Prednisone's do increase blood glucose and yeast infections.

A Chronic fatigue doctor recommended ribose and malic acid to increase energy but I don't know if these feed yeast or not or "support" adrenals. he also has a product called Stress-End which has a lot of adrenal support products in it.

IMO " steroid " isn't a dirty word b/c it is natural to your body.

allopathic docs usually don't know how to dose/use it though. Cortef

is wonderful and very safe. you can google Safe Uses of Cortisol by

McK Jefferies MD. I take 5mg 4X a day. Take enough iodine to

combat yeast.

I do eat regularly all of the ingredients in the Original B....receipe. So maybe

that's good. I guess I expected certain fruits to be helpful maybe like oranges

with vit c.

I need to get buffered c, I've been taking ascorbic acid straight and it'snot

digesting that well.

I had hypoglycemia when I put sugar in my coffee, within 2 hours my sugar levels

would crash. Now I use stevia, no crashes-anymore.

I need much more potassium, I struggle with deficiency in that that stops my

bowels flat if I'm not on enough.Thanks for explaining more though.

splena is very bad.use stevia.google mercola and splenda and you will get much info
