Guest guest
Please forgive me for sounding ignorant but what is a " medical Intuitive " ? n. Medical Intuitives Has anyone here ever enlisted the help of a Medical Intuitive? I am interested in exploring to learn more about how our emotional and or physical issues may be causing or still contributing to our physical illnesses. I have been given the standard diagnoses like most of us such as lyme disease, various chronic infections, fibro, CFS, etc. I can't help but wonder what the root cause is or if it is possible for a medical intuitive to figure out a root cause that doctors / scientists may not have picked up on a lab or diagnostic test. I like many others may just seem to keep adding on a multitude of diagnoses and illnesses. I am wondering if anyone has had success with a medical intuitive to point them in an additional direction so that they could help their doctors to help themselves to get well. Guest guest
Hi, I posted in mesg number 68336 abt my experience with an intuitive. I did not find the session very helpful(most of the info is something I have already known). I did not do an intensive reflexology treatment that he recommeded. I had done accupuncture and it did not help me. Gayu. PS: I started doing Immunics and I find that very very useful. The website is www.immunics.org. I basiclaly use it to test a lot of substances, find out abt the nature of teh illness etc etc. You pay a donation and have access to so much useful info in their website. You can also search this group archives to see our previous discussions. It is hard to explain in writing. So if u r interested, please visit their website. I might not do a good job of explaining it :-) Copying the mesg content(68336) here. > Hi, > > Just wanted to share my experience with a medical intuitive reading. > > His name is Jay Caliendo. Guest guest
Hi, I saw a Med Intuitive before I had a diagnosis many years ago. It was interesting, but not helpful and nothing he said was backed up by tests I had done, tests which he said would prove what he said. The treatment he prescribed was more harmful than helpful and to sum it all up, he was just plain wrong. It was very expensive and pretty much a waste of time and money. I am sure there are good med Intuitives out there, but unless there's someone you trust who can recommend someone who has helped them enormously, I wouldn't bother. If you discover anyone genuinely talented - that young Russian girl who was reported in the media springs to mind, do let us know. Guest guest
Hi, Last year I saw a Native American White Priest healer. It was a most interesting experience for me. Since I am no stranger to energy body concepts, I was open to whatever. There was no charge for my healing, only an " offering " was suggested. I have no money so I took some small gifts. The healer was most intuitive and claimed to be able to see the aura and repair damage to certain areas. He drew a picture of my fields and insicated specific damaged areas. Later research supported what he said in terms of which chakras were damaged in what ways - and how that related to certain life experiences. He described many of my ailments as well as life experiences, then I sat in a chair while he waved his arms around me with a feather. I was them " prescribed " a minimum of 3 acupuncture treatments as follow- up to help my new auric patterns " stick " . I believe it was of help to me. *Sue* > > tonkinese20 <pakinaz@c...> wrote: > > Has anyone here ever enlisted the help of a Medical Intuitive? Guest guest
I was desperate enough to try a med intuitive once. There was one an hour away, highly touted, but only works by phone. You have to send her (I think it was) $125 check 10 days ahead of time for it to 'clear' and then she would set up an appointment time that I was to call her, which I did, I called and called and called for that whole hour and got her machine over and over. She had completely forgot our appointment and gone shopping! Then she was angry with me because I was so upset I'd put so much planning into this over a course of weeks for her to 'forget'. So we set another time, of course I was by then still very angry and thinking what total robbery this is. She finally just said, I can't get any reading on you at all. Okkkkaaayyyy, so after all that, I got NOTHING. And she sent my check back and said she didn't know why I wouldn't heal and I needed to read all the new age junk to find out why I 'wouldn't' heal, etc. I'd just been in a pretty major carwreck a few months before on top of my cfs and fm. I had really gotten my hopes up for this and was VERY let down and then made to seem like it was 'my fault' she couldn't do anything. Oh well, I should be used to it, how many times have I tried some program that is supposed to 'cure' cfs and when it doesn't , its always 'my fault'. Thats my experience with a medical intuitive. Save your money. Marcia Re: Medical Intuitives Hi, I saw a Med Intuitive before I had a diagnosis many years ago. Guest guest
You said in an earlier post that you have Norwegian descent. Have you explored some of the genetic problems that Scandinavians have? My own heritage includes Danish/English, and my wife also is about half Danish and part Swedish. I was surprised to learn that quite a few genetic problems exist in this genetic group that may be contributing to CFIDS. One common problem in Scandinavians related to adrenals is Pyroluria. Have you considered that as a cofactor? It can be tested, and leads to chronic Zinc and B6 depletion, and other problems. I believe I have also read somewhere about Vitamin D problems in this group (I'm sure others on this list know more about that). My intuitive 2-bits. :-) --Kurt Re: Medical Intuitives I was desperate enough to try a med intuitive once. There was one an hour away, highly touted, but only works by phone. Guest guest
DIARY OF A MEDICAL INTUITIVE -- search it on the Web. The person who wrote it is a nurse and sounds reliable. Carolyn Myss is no longer giving readings, unfortunately, but she trains many of them in Chicago. However, when I went to a CM-trained med. intuitive, I was really disappointed. Walked away learning nothing much. Most of the ones I've encountered don't have a clue as to what is going on. It's a field that reeks of quackery so we all need to be careful. is Rotella, M.Ac., CNC > > Hello, > > Does anyone have any opinion on medical intuitives? Guest guest
Once upon-a-time, I would have said this was just a story or money grubbers, but that was before my quantic experiences. In the past 8 years I've met some that were phony, and many who were special and very gifted, some just felt, some could see auras or shadow, but all were very special people. Yours in Health, Dr.Kathy, ND medical intuitives Hello, Does anyone have any opinion on medical intuitives? Generally, I have noticed that the New Age movement and alternative medicine seem to be linked. There are some people, I believe, who simply know what is wrong with a person. Guest guest
I wrote the following – but all these words and definitions can’t explain what I feel/sense, of being “beyond concepts and definitions” – in peace, where there are no ills al all etc. But enjoy anyway…. There are most likely many different definitions and stages of medical intuitives as there are numbers of people on (and off) the planet. I can only say how it appears for me. Noting that it feels simpler every day; like I’m not doing anything at all – just being. Although, sometimes I feel a need to invoke “stronger results—a quicker pace” that I or my clients can handle. After training and using many different types of body therapies over the years, I developed how to see/sense where the stuck energy is in someone’s body (and actually see their bodies like an xray with dark areas of stuck energy [which can be related to Chinese medicine symbolism like liver holding anger etc.). Can ask their mind-bodies different questions; can use their cranio sacral fluid like a pendulum or muscle-test answers. And dialogue with clients silently or aloud how to release the stuck energy or be non-judgmental themselves -- per their own will, path and process. This happens whether or not they are near or far away. I often get audio messages on how to proceed while operating the Quantum, and simultaneously do energy therapy (Reiki etc. across the room, or globe). Specifically, getting grounded, and calling on the healing masters of many traditions and resonating with them; feeling that we are all One, in a non-judgmental, already whole and well space (not ill at all), neutral yet compassionate, stress-free, enlightened, seeing/sensing myself and clients full of light and beyond these very definitions or concepts etc. TRY IT. Trust the process. Feel and share the joy. / Advanced CranioSacral Therapist etc etc Worcester, MA 508-792-2222 tel. www.HolisticNetwork.org/QWC From: qxci-english [mailto:qxci-english ] On Behalf Of Foxworthy Sent: Tuesday, May 09, 2006 1:39 PM qxci-english Subject: medical intuitives Hello, Does anyone have any opinion on medical intuitives? Guest guest
Gentlepeople, In my experience, I've separated MI people in three groups: 1) those who need to see and be in the presence of the client to be accurate, 2) those who need some contact by touch or voice with the client to be accurate, 3) those who are accurate no matter what. In my opinion: Most MI fall into group 1. Carolyn Myss was in group 2. Edgar Cayce and very few others are in group 3, but I don't know personally know any living person in that group today. There is a larger group of what I call Mental Kinesiologists who are quite good at detecting what approach works better than others given enough information. There are quite of few of these among the Modern Essenes. Namaste,
Guest guest
, my mother would fall into group 3! I have known her abilities to work long distance works for years now. She has been helping me balance seratonin etc from distance for a couple years now. But I also know of others she works with that live in other states and not just a few miles away. > > Gentlepeople, > > In my experience, I've separated MI people > in three groups: 1) those who need to see and > be in the presence of the client to be accurate, > 2) those who need some contact by touch or > voice with the client to be accurate, 3) those > who are accurate no matter what. > > In my opinion: > > Most MI fall into group 1.
