Guest guest
I can't believe this subject hasn't come up with this group before but I didn't get a single hit when I searched the archive. This is a two- year-old boy whose mother thinks he may have been traumatized in some way when visiting with his father (from whom the mother is divorced). He's just started stuttering in the last few weeks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Guest guest
Some people have had great results using EFT for stuttering, especially when it comes from a trauma. le On Sat, 11 Jun 2005 07:36:18 -0000, wrote > I can't believe this subject hasn't come up with this group before but > I didn't get a single hit when I searched the archive. Guest guest
-When I was a young child, I stuttered terribly. It was my patient mother who took the time to slow me down so that I would enunciate the words carefully and without hurry. There was alot of tension in the family. The heart meridian is often involved with stuttering and transposition of words. Might want to get checked out by an acupuncturist (five element) to get the meridians all sharing the same load, not to have one carrying the burden for the others. is Rotella, M.Ac., CNC-- In qxci-english , " " <gl_jackson@h...> wrote: > I can't believe this subject hasn't come up with this group before but > I didn't get a single hit when I searched the archive. Guest guest
You can try a homeopathic like lithium orotate which mineralizes the nervous system. Or Calms Forte or gaba -- something to calm the CNC down. is Rotella, M.Ac., CNC > I can't believe this subject hasn't come up with this group before but > I didn't get a single hit when I searched the archive. Guest guest
, In my notes from the Bahamas DEC '03 I see... " The human brain does not mature until 18 years old, up to age 6 the two halves are really two seperate units that do not use the corpus bridge linking the left and right brains. Bill mentions using a large hose for stuttering. Speaking into one end with the other end to the right ear. Practice with this helps to retrain the left brain word area center (if word filter center is active in both L/R brain = stuttering) using a mechanical-acoustical delay feedback loop: that inhibits the stuttering. " Perhaps you can try this out as a game with the boy. See what it does for him. Guest guest
You may also need to check the ears on these children. He may have been boxed (hit) on the ears or fell or suffered an ear infection which caused a problem with the internal workings of the ear or the C1-C3 of the spine putting pressure on the ears. Ear issues may cause problems with speech. Just a area to check. Yours in Health, Kathy Help with stuttering?
