Dear Mathew,

Sorry to hear that you have had so much trouble. I am a QXCI broker and a user. I have done 4000 plus tests on the QX. I have found solutions to most software problems.

Please email me the details of your lap top on hettige-d@... Also email me your contact phone numbers. I am planning to be in Malaysia within the next two months as I am setting up an Energetic Medicine Centre.

unending software problems

I have a QXCI but most unfortunately it is not functional. The original software became corrupted and I was sent a new one by my agent. After installing, it could not be functional inspite of it being activated with the code. I wrote to the headquarters in Hungary and was able to communicate with Mr Benny Vervliet and Mr Francisco ez. Mr Francisco sent me a new software in DVD format. This was installed into my labtop. Unfortunately the numbers that appeared on the top right hand screen showed the year 2003 instead of 2004. I am told that with this error the program cannot be activated correctly. I am now helpless. The problem is that there is no agent in Malaysia. If we dont get the required assistance as is normally provided by medical equipment suppliers and manufacturers then we end up total losers. I hope this is not the case here. The telephone calls itself from Malaysia to Hungary has costed me a fortune. Inspite of this the problem is still not solved. Can somebody please assist.

I have a few of questions for you.

1. What type of computer do you have? Brand

2. What form of insides does it use? Pentium 2, 3, 4 or something else?

3. Did you get a code the last time you installed?

4. Check your date on your laptop and make sure that the operating system says the correct date and year. The 2003 is possibly just that, your laptop has an incorrect date. Sounds simple but can really mess things up.

5. Did you dump the old program when you loaded the new? If not you may have an easier time than you think.

6. If you reinstalled the new disk, did you go in order of 1, 2, 3, 4? Or did you know to SKIP the #3.

Let's start here.

A special thanks to the following very nice people out there, who, though totally unknown did have the heart to express their concern and who at least gave their willingness to help. This simply shows there are a lot of good people around.

Thank you , Bob and Kathy. Since 20th June my QXCI has been lying around totally non functional. The software used to give problems and so I uninstalled the same and tried re installing the same from the CD. The computer showed the CD was corrupted. I called up the agent and he said he would send me a new CD. What surprised me is how the CD could get corrupted. When I did not hear from him, I called again and I was told I need to pay US$30.00. No qualms about that but then he could have told me about it earlier. The CD finally came and he gave me the activation code but the program could not be activated. Please remember, these are all through long distance international telephone calls. I then got the QX Ltd web site and got the e mail addresses of the big boys at the company. I wrote to Mr Benny Vervliet and Francisco ez. Both of them replied expressing their sadness over my predicatment. Mr Benny asked me for my address and telephone numbers. After I gave him the details I never heard from him, till today. Mr Francisco also replied and also expressed his regret and he too asked me for my address. He then sent me a new software in DVD format. I got the software loaded on to my laptop at a computer shop after which I called Mr Francisco for activation. He then told me that the serial number on the top right hand of the password screen is wrong as it showed the year as 2003 when it should be 2004. He gave me so many instructions through numerous telephone calls. Mind you again these are international telephone calls from Malaysia to Hungary. Inspite of doing everything that was told the numbers remained the same. He then instructed me to go and buy a new computer. Personally I felt silly about this as I just got my labtop serviced by Hewlett and Packard and which costed me money. There was nothing wrong with the laptop as it was already tested. Mr Francisco did not want to assist further as all he wanted was that I buy a new computer. I then got my son to take the computer and the DVD to the computer shop and removed the program altogether and re loaded the same. Believe you me, this time when it was brought to my clinic I was surprised to see the serial numbers with the correct dates. I then called Mr Francisco and he gave me the activation code. The program is now fine. My contention is this. As a customer I had to go through the hassle of literally feeling frustrated at the thought that as a doctor I am here with no plausible help from the manufacturers or the suppliers of a medical equipment. It is indeed strange as medical equipment manufacturers normally are extremely helpful to their clients. It is a pity as it a good program and can be helpful in care of patients. I honestly hope that the concerned people will want to take cognizance of this and do something about it so that customers need not be given a run around. On one occasion I called QX Ltd and asked the receptionist if I can get someone from the company to help. She kept me on the telephone for ten minutes and finally came back to tell me she cannot find anyone to help. I can only imagine if there is really a serious problem with the machine. Would it be the end of the product as far as the user is concerned or would he be asked to buy a new QXCI? What has happened to the traditional business courtesies and good will?

I resolved this problem by reloading the original discs that come with your computer that converts it back to "factory" . Then reloaded the QX and it works. It's an arduous task - as all of your date must be saved and reloaded. .. . .but the Qx works now.

I can feel and appreciate your frustration. I too have had numerous problems with the "new" software. At least you were contacted by Francisco. He has still not contacted me after I was told over ten days ago our problem with the software would be referred to him and he would be contacting us. It may be he is trying to avoid contact due to other unanswered emails sent to him.

The service we receive from Quantum Life is excellent and we have never had a problem with them. , and are first rate and their support staff are more than capable. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the staff in Budapest with the exception of Lloyd. does his best and his efforts are appreciated.
