Also known as Butterbur.  Enzymatic Therapies has a

wonderful product for migraine relief using Butterbur, special instruction are necessary for it to work.  The very beginning is the most important to

start as soon as the migraine has started.

1 every hour up until migraine is relieved

up to 5 daily.  No more than 5 daily.

RE: long

time use of pain killers

Noel: Sorry I didn't say 'hallo' on Sunday and

Thankyou Azizah for the seminar.

Re pain killers - I have excellent results using Petasites for pain relief and weaning

off allopathic drugs liek NSAIDS and whilst the herbal anti-inflams such as

those Azizah mentioned are coming up to scratch, which takes time. This

herb - obtainable in capsules(e.g. fromBioforce in Scotland) are neurosedative so

work fast - within 20 minutes - yet is non-toxic in reocmmended doses (1 - 2

capsules, 3 pdi up to 4 at any one time.) There are no restrictions to long

term use yet, obviously should be reduced when the antiinflams are knocking

in.

Its effective spasmolytic action can react with

allopathic CNS depressants or stimulants (e.g. tranquillsers, barbiturates

and antidepressant)and can delay/decrease effect of antibaterial drugs, nalidix

acid and sulfonamides. I understant it can also increase the action of

other analgesics or anaesthetics - all of which, hopefully, are not being

taken.

Research showed positively for stomach, intestine,

biliary tract, chronic gastritis, gastroduodentis + lower back pain due to

slipped discs. Also good for fibromylagia and/or otheracute/chronic

musculoskeltal conditions (RSI etc) although I haven't seen research in this

area yet (but it works!).

I prescribe for

Best wishes
