Dear group,

I know many of you have much knowledge about good diets. I am working

with people who are living with HIV and I want to be able to give them

advice when they ask about which foods to eat and which to avoid.

Please let me know what you think.

with friendly greetings, Helen Kidd

Hi Helen, in March my husband had emergency heart surgery and we decided we needed to change our diet. We were introduced to "The pH Miracle Diet" by Young and Young - a husband and wife team. It has done wonders for us, and I have suggested it to many friends. One of which has a thyroid problem and has not been able to lose weight for years; even though she eats a balanced diet. With this she has not only lost over 10 lbs., she also found it helped her arthritis. Seeing her recently, I realized how good she looked and had wonderful energy! I am not sure how it would effect those that have AIDS, but only imagine it would help. This link is a chapter exerpt from the book for much more information!! http://www.twbookmark.com/books/51/044669049X/chapter_excerpt14799.html Also, one you can speak to that has a wealth of information on a variety of issues, is Jim Karnstedt and he can be reached at 800-426-1110. He will be back in the office on Wednesday, but a message can always be left and he is good at returning calls fairly quickly. Best of luck on your work... it is greatly needed! Best!
