I save the entire test results by importing the Consciada.db (located in C:/Clasp32/Data) into an Access database. If you know how to use MS Access there is a wizard that makes this import very easy. Create a new Database (like QXCI Tests), select new database in database window, select import from next window popup and select paradox as the file type, then navigate to the Conscida.db file in Clasp32/Data and select, select open and the import should automatically take place. After the import you can rename the new table whatever you wish to call it (I rename it after the patient and date). Note that this must be done after the Clasp32 program is closed and immediately after you finish with the patient. Every time you take another test the results will overwrite the previous test in Consciada.db.

I guess I wonder why you would want the last test matrix, when it is no longer relevant to the person today. If you want to compare just print the top reds so you can compare later.

You know your stuff. Tis true that to get the whole list of 8000+ items one can

do that. But why? According to those in the know, only the top items and the

items under 40 mean anything. Unless you are looking at specifics of each item,

such as resonance, reactance, etc. And I believe that when you drag and drop an

item into the info view it will give you one of those. I usually do not do that.

You will notice, that when you add top 250 items to report, and then go into

Reports, and save the current exam, that it does save it. However, the next time

you save that client, it overwrites previous one. There are two ways to fix

this. First, after you have compiled everything that you want in a report, click

the load simple button. Next click make word text file. Then name it. It is now

saved in the clasp32 folder somewhere (I forget where). OR, you may do what I

do. Follow the above example, and when you are prompted for a name to use for

making a word text file, just leave it as " name " and click ok. You will now see

a text file of your report. Then, click on file/save as. Next, make a folder

somewhere called " clients " or something. And then proceed to name them with an

ascending number scheme (ie DaveR1, DaveR2, DaveR3, etc). Now all of your client

files are in one place and named in sequence.

There is a button somewhere in Report that is supposed to save the file for

importation into Microsoft Access. This does not work. All it was doing anyway

was making what is called a " tab de-limited " text file. When you save your word

text file, it is already tab de-limited, ready for import into an Access table.

I do it this way because I do not believe that the coscida.db has all of the

info that you can get from doing the therapies and such. And I do not believe

that the VARHO is in there either. But I suppose that one could do both and have

the full monty.

Cheers

it would be helpful, b/c i provide the patient with physician recommendations, and i put together a complete patient report. sometimes i am treating more than 1 or 2 patients, therefore, it would be helpful to be able to go back and review their records.Kathy <kathyqx@...> wrote:

Okay, for this reason I get it. So here goes... There are 3 steps you do upon completion of a test to get the top 250 items saved and into the report. All under "Information" on the Test matrix 1. Save SOC 2. Add top significant items 200 to 250 ... and 3.Report, hit Current Examination//Okay//Save Examination. If you want just this on your report for your records you can click the print and do so now, if you want more in the report after therapies then come back to this latter. Now here's the problem. It does not save the below 60 numbers so go back to the test matrix bring this page onto your screen and click "Shift" on your keyboard while pressing the top keyboard key that says "print screen" this saves the information on your screen to a word document. Open "Word" go to your "Start" Icon on the computer screen and go to Programs, find Word it will bring up a blank page. Now hit the "paste" button and your information will be

on your screen. Now all you do is print the page. Minimize this screen and you can go back to this latter for any other information you can not save that you want.

Don't forget that you can double click on any item in the test matrix to add it into it.

If this does't answer all you need please let me know and I will try and fill you in with the rest.
