Guest guest
Dr. G told me to use Mineral Oil to help loosen stools for my 4 and 2 year old boys. I would start with 1/4 tsp mixed in with whatever juice you use daily, and adjust accordingly. He suggested that I keep the Mineral Oil cold to help dull the taste. It seems to work well for them. Guest guest
Dr. G also recommended mineral oil for my son, but he refused to take it. He then said we could use citrucel. You can get citrucel in a sugar-free version. It doesn't completely freeze -- just turns into " cold goop " . Somehow, that made it more palatable for my son. Worth a try. Donna
Guest guest
if you use mineral oil, give at least an hour before any medications. Giving with meds will void the affects of the meds doris land Message: 6 Date: Fri, 19 Sep 2003 11:13:55 -0400 From: " Lori " <lbharris@...> Subject: RE: Fiber Supplements Dr. G told me to use Mineral Oil to help loosen stools for my 4 and 2 year old boys. Guest guest
About a month or two ago, I noticed an ad in the newspaper for a 50% soluble and 50% insoluble fiber blend containing probably about 7-14 different sources of fiber, along with a comparison chart showing how superior it was to the competition. Unfortunately, I forgot to remember the URL, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what this product could be? I've already ruled out it being " FiberBlend " . Guest guest
This probably isn't it, but here's one I bought a while back because of the numerous fiber sources: http://www.vitacost.com/store/products/productdescription.cfm?SKUNumber=79388738\ 8506 snipurl: http://snipurl.com/75xl beneathremains wrote: >About a month or two ago, I noticed an ad in the newspaper for a 50% soluble and 50% insoluble fiber blend containing probably about 7-14 different sources of fiber, along with a comparison chart showing how >superior it was to the competition.
