Nevertheless, many things on the Internet are controversial, with people claiming that things are safe while others claim they are dangerous. Unfortunately, it's left up to us to figure out who is right and who is wrong. And yes, chelation of heavy metals in general can be dangerous... however, leaving the heavy metals in you can also keep you ill for the rest of your life. But I do agree with Lachlan -- the first step in recovery should be in rebuilding your strength and energy. Chelation can follow later when you're feeling better.
