Guest guest
H! My first post. I found this link to a website that sells supposedly zero radiation monitors. www/blockemf.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=755 & products_id=4842 Any advice or ideas?Could this really eliminate my problems?I get burning sensations in my head and dizzy feeling when using my old CRT monitor. I've heard that LCD isn't always a solution. I'm really desperate to find a solution so I can use my computer more than 2x a week. I was trying to work from home. I have to be very careful aout my money and don't wan to waste it on a mistake. My husband hooked up a cable that let meuse the computer on our old TV across the room, but I still had some low grade problems. And our tv is so old that I couldn't really viewwat I needed clearly. I'm really new to al of this athough I a trying to heal MCS and CFIDS as well. I just don;t want my life to become more closed off. Maybe it was the CPU.Thanks so much for any advice. Hi , I suspect that you realize that anyone saying that they have a " zero radiation " monitor is being misleading. The meter they are using to show that it has zero radiation is not designed to measure the actual radiation that it is outputting. I have an LCD monitor that makes such a meter read zero, but I had a difficult time using it when I was at my worst. Now, as for whether it will be better for you than a regular CRT or regular LCD, that very may well be the case, I do not know, and I suspect the only way for you to know is to try it. A lot of people do better with LCD monitors than CRTs. I did not, but I think I'm the exception, not the rule. One thing you might want to try (if you have a PC running Microsoft Windows) is to download the 15-day free trial software " Quantum Byte " , and see if you notice any difference. Here's a link: http://www.quantumproducts.com/quantumbytefreedownload/ (yes, I realize it sounds silly to try a piece of software, but hey, what have you got to lose? Just delete it if you don't notice any difference) And no, I don't think there is such a thing as a zero radiation TV either, although again, you may have more luck with an LCD TV than a CRT...
