Guest guest
When did I ever say I expected to lose weight over night?? When did I ever say I expected to lose in just days?? I am a 32 year old mother. I am intelligent, educated, and simply know better. I do not feel I need to be spoken to as though I am a child. Like I really sit here and eat twinkies and expect to lose weight!! I found this product after it was suggested to me FOR WEIGHT LOSS. So, instead of just believing what one person says, I decided to join this group to learn more. I mean, it is no secret that the idea of staying away from products high in Sat Fats have been shoved down our throats for many years. So, I would be irresponsible NOT to question..NOT to do my research. Some here seem very nutritionally snobby..like a high school cligue full of fanatics. I am just a typical american woman. I try to eat well. I do not chew bark off a tree and live miserably and count every calorie. But I am careful and mindful of what I do eat. Once in a while I have an ice cream or a french fry. But that is once in a while. I have used the VCO as directed for about 2 weeks now. It has definatly inpacted my appetite, which is very good. My first jar is almost gone and I have decided to purchase one more before making a decision of whether or not to continue. I have very concerned with my health. I do not drink or smoke. I go to the gym 3 times a week and run after a 2 year old all day everyday. I have a heart problem for which I take a beta blocker which HIGHLY impacts my ability to lose weight and exercise effectivly. It also makes me incredibly fatigued as does my anxiety medication. These all play a role. I take supplements and I do my best. Thus, my questioning the effects of VCO. My father had emergency quad bypass in his 30s. So I certainly cannot ignore the possible outcomes of negative lipids (tho mine have been great). So, there is my story. Please do not assume I am some brainless twit looking to lose a few so I can swing on the bar at the local strip club. I am looking to lose some baby weight and gain as much of a healthy lifestyle as I can while living a normal happy life. And I do suggest that if you do not want to be considerate or toughtful to people, that you might want to make this group private or possible just stop yourself from typing when you feel you are going into jerk mode. Thank you. Have a swell day.

I reread all your posts when I read the comments made to you. I'm fairly new here myself so don't know the group members very well but so far I have found them very helpful. I'm well aware that sometimes people read things into our posts we never intended but some of the questions you've asked, I feel, are very pertinent. I've just started using VCO myself and am really curious about it. Like you, I sooooo don't want to put weight on. I'm struggling hard to get it off and,no, weight isn't by any means my only issue - I have other serious health concerns as well. If someone had suggested to me that I was only concerned with my weight and should be at weight watchers or that it was my own fault for abusing my body for years, I don't think I'd have been nearly as restrained as you <VBG> But please don't let it put you off, put it down to people having a bad day or whatever. You're right we do need to support each other and if people though you were derogatory, they've certainly never heard me on a bad day :-) Cheers Kirsteen
