Guest guest
I use the EPCO-expeller pressed for everyday cooking. it imparts most of the benefits. it is certainly healthier than other vegetable oils. It has taken my boys 5 and 9 a while to get used to the flavor of the virgin, I add it to their oatmeal and hot cocoa . I suggested expeller expressed type, but suspect that is not the same as VCO. Is there some brand of VCO that has no scent? I do have Tropical Traditions. It just has a faint fragrance to me, but the relative thought it was too strong. Mari --------------------------------- DSL Something to write home about. Guest guest
I have a friend who can't stand the smell of coconut oil either so when ever I have him over for dinner I mix coconut oil and butter together and he can't smell it nor taste it. Guest guest
If you cant find a way to make it easier to take, then sometimes you just have to " take your medicine " and put up with it. I find VCO to be an extremely rich oil, that when I first started to take it,it took a few times to get it down. When you are desperate to get over a health problem, you do what you have to. The benifits far out way any discomfort.I have been taking it since Dec 19,and my energy has at least doubled. So its worth my not really liking the taste, though I dont dis-like it...but Im getting used to it. Having said that,Ive discovered you can put VCO in no cooked sweets. No cooked because if you heat the mixture, you defeat the whole purpose of ANH,VCO.So im looking forward to trying these as it might make the VCO not so noticable...though I do like decicated coconut and coconut milk.
