Wi fi detectors..

Hi,

just curious (might get one myself):

How strong is the signals in your house?

Have you compared the strength in your house to the strength

in a place that you know for sure have a strong signal,

or a hotspot? (Like near a wireless router.)

Do you find the signal strength to be correct (not in

exact numbers, but relatively, comparing different places)?

Regards,

.

It gives you the number of differing wifi outputs , identifying each by its

unique name  and intensity ( up to 300 ft) so it is possible to see which

neighbour is on at any given time. It gives strengths in terms of a bar

system. I walked around the neighbourhood last night , and in some places there

were up to 15  high intensity(4 bars) unique signals in front of one house, 9

wifi signals at the bottom of my road, three outside my house , I can pick up 2

in my bedroom- no wonder im having difficulty sleeping. scary really

There are some that are (somewhat) directional. With this one you

couldprobably

tell direction because your body blocks some of the signal.

Hi Ada

Does this mean that your problems are with someone nearby you using a wireless

broadband router?? I was at my brother's office a while ago and he has some sort

of BT broadband wireless router thing - I was standing about 3 feet away from it

and it literally felt like a part of my brain was being cooked - quite painfully

so - and he sits beside the thing all day every day and appears to suffer no ill

effects! Are there any parts of your hosue that are unaffected by the channels

where you could try to avoid? completely ridiculous though that anyone should

have to skulk around in their own home just to find a spot where they aren't

being harmed!

By the way - I have been given a date for my surgery - it is next Friday [27

Feb] so if you would think of me then I'd appreciate it so much - I am dreading

it but trying to be positive in that if the offending bit comes out maybe I will

feel a little better. Here's hoping I will be able to post again soon.

Best wishes

Steph

... in my diary , ill hold you in my thoughts for next week. As to the wifi its

quite alarming really , i went for my morning walk yesterday and took it with

me  doing measurements on the way. On a one hour walk , there was not one area

where there wasnt at least one wifi detectable. Every one has it !!-

Any way thinking of you, goodluck- and be well.

Thanks Ada

That means a lot to me. You are a star.

Re the wifi - doesn't really surprise me that there is such saturation coverage

- if only they could devise a way of allowing people the same level of access

which wasn't so harmful. Keep hoping!

Best wishes

PS - How are things with you at the minute? Is your sleep badly disrupted with

the wifi beams hitting your bedroom?
