Guest guest
Hi, Marc,  Grounding can make a difference if you can do it correctly. The difference it makes is from draining off bad energy in the body. I am not still sure whether we ESers are all alike in this area. For me personally, attracting emfs is a major part of my ES. I can feel emfs flooding my body. I fry lightbulbs and electronics sometimes. I cannot wear a watch; I drain batteries..... I also have had the symptoms other ESers mention here, tho--headaches, anxiety, plummeting bp, chills, sweats, heart-rate changes, blood sugar spiking....  After grounding myself, I am not frying things or draining batteries. And I react less to emfs in my atmosphere. I also have more energy. The more I store emfs, the less energetic I am. It is as tho they are tying up my body energy. Grounding myself is a way of draining those emfs.  My 2 cents, Diane From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Re: new to group, grounding apparatus Date: Friday, June 18, 2010, 2:27 PM  > I did walk barefoot in the park yesterday (dirt and grass). It might make some minor improvements, but I doubt it will make much of a difference in what EMF environments you can tolerate. Marc
Guest guest
Hi again Diane - you mention " huge bodies of water " as being good places to ground oneself...I wonder if that's why I have had this instinctive, mysterious attraction to bodies of water? I have only had a few chances over these past several years to be close to large bodies of water - but I find myself really craving the experience sometimes. I first noticed it around 2002 - when we visited Fort Sumter. You have to take a ride in a boat to get to the actual Fort Sumter historical site. I noticed when I was boarding the boat to get back to shore (ton, South Carolina) - I found myself irresistably drawn to stare out to the body of water. Part of me wanted to even get closer to the water - to " become one " with the water. It just seemed to have this " pull " on me - this " restful " effect. Sometimes just looking at pictures of water has this " calming " effect - i.e. pics of ocean waves, etc.. Several years ago, when I had a chance to drive around Cleveland, Ohio with my family - I was the only one who had a interest in seeing Lake Erie. It was nighttime, and we were driving around in a car - but I still wanted to drive as close to Lake Erie as possible. Finally, there was a point where I believe we were staring head-on at the shoreline of Lake Erie - for a relatively brief moment. I wished I could have made the moment last much longer, and part of me wanted to edge the car closer to the shore! I wonder if this is my body' way of seeking " grounding " , or perhaps craving the negative ions the water (supposedly) imparts? Sometimes, I've even noticed how the shower - i.e. the flowing water out of the nozzle - has a certain calming effect. People have been talking recently about walking barefoot to ground oneself. I have oddly found myself craving to walk around this house barefoot recently - in the past, I really had no such craving. I wonder if this is my body's way of communicating its " need " to ground itself from all of this emf? I've noticed that it feels good to walk short distances barefoot - it could be the grounding effect, or perhaps the " acupuncture " , " massaging " effect. I guess the hippies knew what they were doing by going barefoot. I guess there are actual scientific/biological principles behind being " one with the earth " ! Anyway - do you know of any biological reasons why some people may have a greater tendency than others to " collect " or " store " electrical charges? ~Svetaswan > > >> > > > >> > Dear Group, > > >> > > > >> > I am living in Berkeley, CA, where I have been staying in temporary homes for the past 3.5 months. Guest guest
About grounding. I remember how good it felt to walk on the beach bare foot & dig my feet in to the ground. Felt great! Loni From: svetaswan <svetaswan@...> Subject: Re: new to group, grounding apparatus Date: Saturday, June 26, 2010, 7:44 AM  Hi again Diane - you mention " huge bodies of water " as being good places to ground oneself...I wonder if that's why I have had this instinctive, mysterious attraction to bodies of water?
