It is my understanding that Coconut Oil will enhance kidney function. This could

definitely mean an increase in urinary output. Please refer to this webpage:

In addition it is possible that as pathogens are killed or as toxins are purged,

that this would also increase urinary output.

Does anyone know how coconut oil affects the kidneys? I've noticed I

have to

urinate quite frequently after taking coconut oil. Does anyone else

experience frequent urination as a result of coconut oil? Does anyone

know if this causes dehydration or kidney problems?

I know that coconut water does wonders for the kidneys and bladders. I just

don't know about the oil.

I've noticed the same thing and actually went to the doctor because I was suddenly urinating a lot. While sitting in the Dr.s office I realized it wasn't happening anymore. The doctor said to stop taking it because it's really bad for your heart. Not sure about any of this but I do know that oil pulling has really cleaned my teeth. Can't be all bad. My theory is that the coconut oil was  cleansing my kidneys. Not sure.
