Just opened a big jar of Spectrum which I knew said Organic...went to eat a spoonful and yuk...tasted really awful...no wonderful coconut flavor. So, looked at the jar...OMG...it's REFINED. So, question is...is there anything I can do with this? Can I use it on my skin/hair...give it to my pets? Or because it's refined do I just toss it in the garbage? It's Spectrum Organic Unrefined...don't think it says virgin anywhere. I know there was a jar of virgin next to it in the store, but it was considerably more. Ugh...bet I don't have the right thing to start with!
