From all this uncertainty, I guess nobody who has a Smart Meter here actually has a relevant meter (~900 Mhz) to actually see how often they are transmitting? Guest guest
Trans ranges from 250 - 600 ft. every 15 mins. Landys & Gyr said transmits every 15 mins. for gas meters. Asked if we had an internal meter. Gas. co kept saying the gas lines hook to the outside meter. That doesn't make sense, please explain it. Guest guest
Meters are mounted in different directions depending on the building. I hope some can get measurements to prove it.  <marc@...> wrote: Re: Re: Getting interviewed about Smart Meters Wednesday  >. Guest guest
> I just have a Cell Sensor And wouldn't that work? Doesn't that measure cellphone frequencies? And don't the Smart Meters transmit at cellphone frequencies? Seems like you could put the Cell Sensor right next to the Smart Meter, and see how frequently it goes off. Unless of course, it really does only go off a few times per day... Marc
Guest guest
That is something about the cats seeking your yard. Now I know why we're not on the smart meter roll out map. We're in suburbs of St. Louis, MO. I found out we'e the 1st state to have digital meters since 97. I talked to a very nice engineer at our electric co. Ameren. He said it relays 900 Mhz. He explained info. is transmitted continuously, a frac of or every second. I didn't request them to measure but may. Asked if the total Mhz from all the homes was increased at the pole. He said someone would have to measure poles. Has anyone done that? I explained my doc's rx. for analog due to metal surgical clips that absorb emfs. That our meter is outside our MB window, can't sleep there. He recommended we move the meter to the end of the yard & was nice to look at his map to tell us what street the pole is receiving ours. I know many of you are mad & hurting but this gentlemen was nice I explained my symptoms are increased emf's from cell phones & towers instead of taking on a fight & that others w metal may be suffering. A few years ago when cells weren't this strength I didn't feel it & had these clips for 11 yrs. I think many of you w new meters are feeling the intensity due to stronger cells, more towers. I'm going to keep pursuing a surgeon to remove them. Kathy From: lindameetoo <lindameetoo@...> Subject: Re: Getting interviewed about Smart Meters Wednesday I'm in California about 50 miles from LA. The electric company is Southern California Edison. The EMF department took readings last week. My home is the safest place to live on the planet. NOT!!! I don't believe they measured what is causing the buzzing, nausea, or headaches (pressure). What ever they measured it was low. But when I'm by the meter I can't stand it. I had to go back in the house when they had the signal sent from the home office, so they could measure the signal. It was so strong (just being by the meter). It's also bad in the house, but not as bad. It's either bad or worse. Never good anymore. I also think I have some geothermic thing going on under my house. I have all the stray cats in the neighborhood in my yard at night. Weird. -
Guest guest
My fillings are out & started reacting in 05 when the gas co. put their wireless meters on for a double whammy, more wireless internet, stronger cells, more towers. If anyone else from MO is on the list, let us know when it got worse for you. Guest guest
Hi, ,  " I have all the stray cats in the neighborhood in my yard at night. Weird. " A building biologist once told me that cats and ants love being in high emf atmospheres. Isn't that bizarre? I had cats at my house too--they always came to my house to deliver their litters, also. I had lots of ants, too.  Diane From: lindameetoo <lindameetoo@...> Subject: Re: Getting interviewed about Smart Meters Wednesday Date: Tuesday, January 25, 2011, 10:36 AM  I'm in California about 50 miles from LA.
