Actually, if something makes you feel great initially but then makes you feel progressively worse, I take that to mean that it is good for you, but you need to slow down/cut back/take breaks until you can build up a tolerance to it. For example, with the Earthcalm Home plugin unit, I found that putting it on a timer gives me the benefits without the negative side effects. But the problem is, the company never advises you to do this, so it took me years to figure this out on my own... Marc
Guest guest
I guess I don't understand how it would make you feel great in the beginning at all. Wouldn't you have to have that tolerance to it from the start. Don't understand that exactly.  I do feel the stetzers are helping some. I have 10 of them in now. Bill suggested more in the garage but if I am getting a reading of 20 or less around the house, would I need to put more in the garage????  I didn't know you had an earthcalm Marc?  Loni From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Stetzer Filters Date: Monday, May 24, 2010, 12:53 PM  > Ya I remember the same thing with the Earthcalm. When I say " building a tolerance " , I mean that you can tolerate it for long periods of time / continuously. You felt great initially because it was helping you, and you could tolerate it just fine for some number of minutes per day. But then you left it plugged in, and you started to feel bad from detox. If you only used it for some number of minutes each day, you might have actually continued to feel great. But figuring out how many minutes is the hard part, especially since it probably changes over time. > I do feel the stetzers are helping some. I have 10 of them in now. Readings less than 30-50 seem like they should be fine. > I didn't know you had an earthcalm Marc? Yes, I've got a whole bunch of things that I don't necessarily use on a daily basis. Guest guest
Ha ha ha! You do have or have tried just about everything! So are you using the earthcalm now (as you said you had it on a timer). And if so where do you have it?  Do the stetzer filters work something like the earthcalm?  Loni From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Stetzer Filters Date: Monday, May 24, 2010, 1:44 PM  > I guess I don't understand how it would make you feel great in the > beginning at all. Guest guest
Agreed. It depends not just how high the reading was, but also the impedance of the sources. A digital clock could give a high reading but a single filter will be enough. It also depends on the 60Hz magnetic background. If there is a wiring error, one filter can increase the 60Hz field. And if so > where do you have it? I am using an Earthcalm Home -- I've got it plugged into a timer which repeatedly turns on 10 minutes then off 20 minutes. I've noticed a subtle improvement in sleep, but that's about it. Having it on all the time just makes me feel bad. > Do the stetzer filters work something like the earthcalm? No, they are completely different. Marc
Guest guest
Ok well I don't understand that technical stuff but if the meter is reading below 50 (which all of my outlets are reading about 20 give or take) then I have the right amount of filters?!
