Guest guest
Hi - not all am radios are good at picking up this stuff I have several, the one that is used in the video is ultra sensitive just shere luck or perhaps providence that I found it in a charity shop for 50p. So do try and pick up the cheap am radios ie battery ones wherever you can and dont forget to use the whole spectrum on the dial in your search. We have a 11k volt line just 10m from our house underground but strangely enough I cant pick up anything with my trifeild meter it must run deep ! As for the cell tower and tv antennea you need to get hold of an electrosmog detector for this, again we have a similar situation to you, low if any bars on phone, and a line of site 1000m approx to mast, only my electrosmog detector picks this up especially in the loft space over our bedroom, but also in one small section of our bedroom window, which for years I have hung high performance silver mesh over, plus more recently stuck silver foil tinted film on window, this helps but beware of creating reflection anomolies. see powerwatch website for the meter described or varios others (https://secure.demonweb.co.uk/spcom-dwh/ccp51/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F9245830\ & rnd=1385979 & rrc=N & affl= & cip= & act= & aff= & pg=prod & ref=ELEKTROSMOG1 & cat=WI RELESS-ENVIRONMENT & catstr=HOME:RF_CONSUMER:WIRELESS-ENVIRONMENT) ps what are you symptoms again ? paul In a message dated 25/11/2010 06:04:14 GMT Standard Time, kirsty.weight@... writes: HiPuk Thanks, I watched the youtube videos. But my trifield meter picks up no electric field and only a very tiny magnetic field (pulses between 0.2 and 0.3 mG). So I can't imagine it's that that's bothering me. Then there are two masts on a hill about 3 - 4 km from my house (direct view, no obstruction), they're a cell phone and TV mast. The cell phone doesn't always have full bars in my house, so if one can use this as an indication, the signal is not very strong? And the TV mast is apparently pointed the other way from me. So is it one of these things, or something else? Could it be the radiotelephone wires? Or geopathic stress? (Very mountaneous area). But my skin burns there, which I associate with an RF type radiation. What about gamma or beta radiatiom from something? I checked for wifi again with my laptop, nothing. Closest house to me is 100 m, and they don't have a plasma TV. Thanks for any advice. Guest guest
hI EMIL - are you talking to me on the trifeild bit, the answer is yes both scales, the 11k line runs up an unmade track next to my neighbours house and then finds its way between 2 houses !!! onto a substation. I often wonder if I should be weary of this ? as the neigbours wife died of lyphoid type luekemia a deacde ago, in some respects my health has declined since not working on a regular basis as spending more time in/around the home - I guess that might be a clue as to why so many women house wives get afflicted, that said due to the plasma tv issue I dont spend time in the house from 2pm - 9pm very often fro the last 3 yrs have you seen the youtube vid of my plight, this one is really under the radar it seems !!! I have been fighting smoke for so long on this one, but i really have little option but to keep on lateral thinking paul uk In a message dated 25/11/2010 12:24:28 GMT Standard Time, lessemf@... writes: It seems that you have not measured with a broadband RF meter. Guest guest
Hi Thanks for the reply. The radio I have was quite good at picking 'noise' up at my previous house. But in this new house it's totally quiet, through its whole spectrum. I guess I should get another one and verify it. The 11 kV lines are overhead (in the air on poles). But I'm sure my trifield meter should be able to pick them up in the house (if they were a problem at this distance of about 70 m), as it's calibrated for 50 Hz (which our power is). It doesn't when standing right near it, pick up anything on the magneticd setting, but it does show an electric field. But it quickly drops off when I walk away from it. My money is still on the TV and/or cell phone towers. There's actually a third thingie up on that hill , I don't know what that is. I heard that these remote setting towers can be worse as they emit stronger pulses. I really feel better in the city than on that farm. My symptoms are fatigue, insomnia, feeling hypoglycemic, irritation/depression, needing to go to the loo all the time, burning skin and if it gets bad enough, restless legs. > > > > PUK REPLIES - I had trouble like this until my AM radio revealed the > less > > well known spectre of emf - ie as you know dirty power signals - see my > > youtube > > __http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog__'>http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog__ (http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog_) > (_http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog_ (http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog) ) > > __http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ__'>http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ__ (http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ_) > (_http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ_ (http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ) ) > > > > > > In a message dated 07/11/2010 19:30:50 GMT Standard Time, > > @ writes: > > > > Hi > > > > > > I don't remember when last I slept in a tent, so can't answer that > one. > > Not too much outside either..I know all that sounds rather depressing... > > > > > > I can definitely feel the EMF outside as well in my garden where I'm > > living now. Guest guest
HI Emil Yeah, haven't checked with broadband RF meter and unfortunately don't have the money to buy one. So I've just checked with what I have on hand. I used the trifield meter on both it's broad and sensitive magnetic setting. It picks up a slight magnetic pulse (pulsing between 0.2 mG and 0.3 mG) in the house (even with the power tripped) and nothing on the electric setting (nor the RF setting). I've ordered your heavy duty faraday cage (to SA - emailed you re yesterday), so that should help re the night and sleeping, but the day is a different matter. > > It seems that you have not measured with a broadband RF meter. > Checking for wifi with laptop, and bars on a cell phone " looks " at only a VERY small part of the spectrum. > > Also, have you checked for high frequency noise on the powerline (with a stetzer meter)? > > Finally, just for clarity, are you using the Trifield Meter on " Magnetic 0-3 " setting? > > Emil > AM radio PUK > > >
Guest guest
Note: The Trifield meter is very insensitive to RF and electric, so a 0 on the RF setting can be misleading. > > HI Emil > > Yeah, haven't checked with broadband RF meter and unfortunately don't have the money to buy one. Guest guest
Yes, I know the RF settting is insensitive, so I don't really use it. And I know the electric isn't too good either, but I thought if it drops off so quickly a bit away from the power lines, the electric field would be quite low in the house anyway. (And the magnetic field, which I guess should correspond is almost nothing as well in the house, and that would penetrate into the house better than the electric field). Would 70 m not be far away enough anyway? I sort of still think it's the TV or cell phone mast. Probably the TV mast, but I have know way of testing it at the moment. > > > > HI Emil > > > > Yeah, haven't checked with broadband RF meter and unfortunately don't have the money to buy one. Guest guest
Didn't test for lyme, but do have chronic rickettsia, mycoplasma and EBV. But from years of treating that with antibiotics etc, what's helped my CFS the most is avoiding EMF. These last few days I've been taking phosphatidylcholine and -serine in small dosages at night (bigger dosages make me extremely sleepy and depressed) and it seems to be helping. I don't want to post about it yet so early, but I thought I would mention it. I take that along with some omega 3 (fish oil) and I think it's doing me good. > > PS you have checked for lymes I suppose > > > In a message dated 25/11/2010 17:54:23 GMT Standard Time, > kirsty.weight@... writes: > > I heard that these remote setting towers can be worse as they emit > stronger pulses. Guest guest
Hi again, Kikkie,  Forgot something that (PUK) reminded me of a few emails down.... Check to see where your local power substation is, where the circuits of transmission are from the substation, and where your property is in conjunction with these. You could be sitting in the direct path of the electrical current return. I don't know how things are done in So Africa, but here, we are often subjected to very high ground currents. (Which is why I don't " ground " myself just anywhere, but go particular places to do grounding.) Guest guest
In Kikkie's case, It could be a lot of things (although not that much because she lives almost in the middle of nowhere), The power lines are not that far (70 meters)... Or it's the tv tower at 2 miles from her house? Tv towers: there aren't as many as cell phone towers, so the signal must be quite strong... This could also explain why she's better in the city (probably not so close to a tv tower)... . > > > > > > PUK REPLIES - I had trouble like this until my AM radio revealed the > > less > > > well known spectre of emf - ie as you know dirty power signals - see my > > > youtube > > > __http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog__'>http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog__ (http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog_) > > (_http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog_ (http://youtu.be/U54LhjgrDog) ) > > > __http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ__'>http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ__ (http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ_) > > (_http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ_ (http://youtu.be/f7MkcoM97KQ) ) > > > > > > > > > In a message dated 07/11/2010 19:30:50 GMT Standard Time, > > > @ writes: > > > > > > Hi > > > > > > > > I don't remember when last I slept in a tent, so can't answer that > > one. > > > Not too much outside either..I know all that sounds rather depressing... > > > > > > > > I can definitely feel the EMF outside as well in my garden where I'm > > > living now.
