They estimate there are approximately 3 weeks worth of 100 watt left in stores. I suggest every one in the uk to start hoarding,.. I for one cannot bear to be near , let alone in fluro energy efficient bulb lighting even when the bulbs are off!. If i didnt know any better I would see this as a bit of a NWO conspiracy , given the profound health effects asscociated with the new bulbs and the fact that they are now being introduced across the board in several countries including the USA , Australia and Ireland. http://news. bbc.co.uk/ 1/hi/magazine/ 7480958.stm

Guest guest
Hi, Ada, Thanks for the info you have given us. Yes, it does seem that the " powers that be " are on a mission with all the changes they are constantly foisting upon us, recently. You can scarcely get thru one hurdle before you have to arm for another. If you can get past their appearance of utter stupidity, you begin to feel as if it is approaching an organized plot. lol My 2 cents. I suggest > every one in the uk to start hoarding,.. Yes, hoarding is good... probably you can also find online sources for " long life " incandescent bulbs (5000 hours? 20000 hours?). Also, once the ban begins, I suppose you can import them from other countries (assuming the bulbs are compatible). Eventually LED bulbs should be inexpensive and acceptable. But not at the moment... Guest guest
Marc, I really cant really ever see  them  becoming acceptable..( at least for me) but then Im probably a lot  more cynical about the reasons behind their introduction than you are. The EMF implications in particular  alarm me , especially the idea of dirty electricity being dumped into house wiring systems- things are bad enough as it is , once the ban is enforced we will have no other alternatives , and definitely no choice..( except for candles and kerosene). I cant imagine the radio frequencies  will be addressed in any seriousness given the selective deafness governments have already employed in coming to terms  with wi-fi, cell phones, masts and all the other accumulated nasties.  Ada  When you are down to nothing ... Guest guest
> Marc, I really cant really ever see them becoming acceptable.. Note that I was not suggestion that florescent lights will ever be acceptable, but rather LED lights -- big difference! LED lights don't necessarily dump RF frequencies onto the power lines... Guest guest
I havent seen the LED ones.. are they globes? The only ones I have seen availablehouses are the swirly fluro ones. Please can you explain the difference.  Ada From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Incandescent bulbs to be phased out in UK.. 100watts to be gone in next 3 weeks Date: Wednesday, 7 January, 2009, 6:20 AM > Marc, I really cant really ever see them becoming acceptable.. Guest guest
Hi Ada  You mentioned dirty electricity being dumped into house wiring - is that from CFLs? I am at my parents house at the minute and they have one CFL [that i know of] in the main hallway - could that be dumping dirty electricity into the wiring in their house??  I get awful migraines when I go to shopping centres or any shops - I am presuming that must be from the fluorescent lighting. Thanks for the link to the Spectrum alliance - reading the stuff there made my blood boil - the government really only does care about the survival of the fittest - but it was good to know about the existence of that organisation. Keep posting!!  Hope you are doing a bit better.  Best wishes  Steph From: Marc <marcufoseries (DOT) com> Subject: Re: Incandescent bulbs to be phased out in UK.. 100watts to be gone in next 3 weeks groups (DOT) com Date: Wednesday, 7 January, 2009, 5:50 AM > They estimate there are > approximately 3 weeks worth of 100 watt left in stores. Yes indeed -- if possible, you should replace all the CFLs with incandescent lights. Marc
