Guest guest
'diet' was not used in that context, as in losing weight. My diet consists of carbs, fruit veg etc. However a lot of people do go on low carb/Atkins to lose weight don't they. Jovelle I made a few comments and showed an interest, that's all. I thought i might learn a bit, if and how much has the low carb way of eating changed etc. I may not have done lots of research on this subject. I did not know we needed to thoroughly research a topic everytime we were allowed an opinion or post on this site, get real. I have read Atkins however, many years ago. I did the 'diet' for a few weeks. I have loads of studying to do and really haven't the time. I do however know about healthy eating, i've done several courses on nutrition. There is lots of research to say it isn't healthy, why don't you do your research? My god you are so aggressive about this subject, attacking people just because they dare to disagree with you. I really don't care anymore and this definately is my final word on the subject. > Hey Jovelle, > I know what you mean. > Anyone who refers to what Atkins says as a 'diet' doesnt know what > Atkins is talking about. > He says that health problems come about because the modern diet has for > many generations been refined foods THAT HAVE DAMAGED OUR DNA...but > thats not everyone though. Thats why people have reactions to the foods > he mentions... which happen to be linked to carbs. > There will always be people who need to be hand fed and cant do their > research and this is why many criticize Atkins, they dont do the > research. > It was a revelation to me about the above point he made. I try and > limit my carbs as much as possible. > As a funny point, have you seen the black comedian who was on Oprah ,who > refers to it as a " low crab diet " ...man that was funny ! > >
