Your story doesnt seem crazy at all. My symptoms got worse when I moved to the

uk and my symptoms always invariably improve when I am inThailand as well.

Hi all,

I was not sure whether I should post this, because it is too absurd to be true,

but whether I like it or not it is true and I think I should share it...

I'm 31 years old and I live in Belgium. Belgium is a small country in Europe,

most known for its capital Brussels.

As a lot of people here I'm also sensitive to laptops, cellphones, cars,... the

usual stuff ;)

But even more worryingly I'm hypersensitive for some high frequent EMF in:

the Netherlands, Germany, England and France (+ probably a lot of other

countries)

If I visit these countries I get migraine and pain in my heart and within +/- 12

hours I really have to leave that country or I'll get something really serious.

It's a bit worse in the cities but I even get sick when I'm in the middle of

nowhere: in a hotel or just walking outside!

The only places where I have been fine the past 3 years are Belgium and

Thailand.

But a few places in Belgium I can't stand neither, on the Belgian Coast for

instance, I used to live there, I got sick from the day they installed Wifi for

free on the beach...

This is all the more strange as in other places in Belgium (like 99%) I can

stand Wifi/cell phone masts for instance... And in Belgium we also have 3G/UMTS-

access on most cellphone masts...

Knowing that I may have to move to Antarctica or some place where EMF is not

advanced makes me sometimes very desperate. The only reason why I'm trying to be

hopeful is that 3 years ago in the Netherlands, my symptoms were even worse than

they are now... So it may be getting better because the effect of some things I

shouldn't have tried 3 years ago (such as Bio-magnets, ...) have diminished.. .

Well this is more or less my crazy story... So far I've told this only to my

brothers, sisters, parents and 2 friends...

Other people that know me simply don't understand why I don't go more on

vacation abroad! ;)

Maybe there is an interesting tip for other sensitives, if you want to go on

vacation with (probably) a lower emf-radiation, go to Belgium or Thailand ;)

best regards,

.

I read about anoher whose symptoms improves

in Thailand too.

Could the earth magnetism be involved here?

Lastly, do you have a reference about manganese

and allergies?  I am low in manganese and suffer

severe allergies and MCS.

Thanks,

Kooky

Or maybe there is something somehow different

about the GEO satellites pointing at Thailand,

or some signal that is not embedded on the

electrical powers lines, or less wide area

Wi-Fi, etc.?

Indeed Belgium is a small country.

You don't have to travel to Thailand, there are many places in Belgium,

where the elektrosmog is very low.

Especially in the borden regions.

Along the autoroutes, in Belgium the masts are merely GSM1800, where in the

Netherlands the most part are GSM900, which harm more.

The TETRA, in Belgium called the Astrid network, is not so overwhelming as

in the Netherlands.

Electrosensitives should stay far away from magnets, even when they are

called, Bio.

Why don't you start healimng yourself, in stead of mocking?

I dont understand the physics at all what does GSM mean and how do these

frequencies pertain to the uk?. Can you suggest any other low electrosmog areas

in europe apart from Belgium?.

Thanks

Hi,

About Thailand, I don't think it has something to do with GEO-satellites.

I'm almost certain I'm feeling okey there because the high freq. EMF radiation

there is better/less. The same thing must be true about Belgium.

I've once read somewhere that Thailand is one of the only quite modern countries

that don't have 3G/UMTS (at least that was 2 years ago). Strange thing is that

Belgium do has got 3G/UMTS (but maybe in a less stronger signal...).

Kooky: with me it's not linked with earth magnetism. The countries where I have

also trouble (like France) are all closeby to Belgium...

Hi ,

Interesting story!  Can I come (from US) by canoe?  ;)  I am unable to fly

due to anaphylaxis from pesticides--(all forms of transportation use

pesticides).  I am hoping to bicycle to a jungle in Brazil someday, if the

canoe doesn't work out.   lol

Thanks for sharing with us,

Hi ,

Yes maybe the problem could be what you're mentioning about the

cellphone/GSM-frequency...

By the way, it's not like I'm pessimistic or I haven't tried to heal myself. The

past 3 years I've done a lot to get better, and I'm still learning every day ;)

Hi Kooky,

About your question,

I have one in Dutch!

http://www.infotalia.com/nld/in_balans/gezonde_voeding/mineralen/mineraal_detail\

..asp?id=285

" mangaan bevordert de genezing van enkele allergieën "

= manganese is good for curing allergies

I've been googling to find a source in English, on this page you find that among

other vitamins/minerals manganese is mentioned as a " natural allergy relief " :

Hi, ,

I didn't think what wrote was mocking!  What was it in the post which

offended you, Dear?

Btw, my nerves in my hand are starting to regenerate finally!  I am having

less ES and phantom pain there, !  (I have been wearing ruby zoisite

and amazonite bracelets and I think they have helped my nerves grow some.)

Thanks for your insight on the phantom pain when it was bad, .  I

appreciate you and your input.  (Still waiting on your health protocol, btw--I

might beat you at putting mine out first, if you don't hurry!  lol  ;)  Just

kidding you.)

Other people that know me simply don't understand why I don't go more on

vacation abroad! ;)

Maybe there is an interesting tip for other sensitives, if you want to go on

vacation with (probably) a lower emf-radiation, go to Belgium or Thailand ;)

best regards,

.

I equal the sentiment. I cant imagine how things will be in the future with this

techology continually amplifying and multiplying, My feelings are that it will

be trully truly bad.

Ya know that may be a common denominator because I believe I am low in maganese

too.

Also molybdenum seems to be an important mineral; also low in. Loni

Hi Evie,

You're not the only one.

Or have you really tried any places at least 8 Km from the cities and

With the one exception of Thailand, everywhere you mentioned is in Europe.

Maybe anyone else here could tell us their experience in traveling to

other countries. There must be somewhere we can hide from the modern

Australia is just as bad as europe, at least in the urban and semi rural areas

where Mobile coverage is pretty much widespread. Living any where more

rural would be too impractical for work. My symptoms started in Oz.

Hi ,

> , have you traveled to South America? or New Zealand? or Australia?

No I haven't been outside Europe in the past 3 years except in Thailand...

> Or have you really tried any places at least 8 Km from the cities and

> visible towers?

I don't think it is possible to go 8 km away from any cellphone/3G/UMTS-tower in

France/Germany/UK/Netherlands!

Maybe on a canoe?! 2 weeks ago I went to UK with the ferry and my headache

started a copple of miles before arriving at the shore

(and at the meantime I had no idea we were that close to England I was reading a

book inside!)...

My best guess is that it has got to do with 3G/UMTS. According to scientists 3G

is a lot more harmful than 2G (only cellphone). The past few hours I've been

reading more info. about 3G:

-In Thailand they have got no 3G (but they plan it for the future).

-In Belgium they have got 3G and they use 2100 MHz-band and (since 2008) the 900

MHz-band. In other European countries they use 2100 MHz but will start using 900

MHz (and maybe 1800 MHz). Download speed of 3G is 7.2 Mbps in Belgium and in

other European countries it is the same or less. But I still don't see any

explanation why I'm okey in Belgium and not in the other European-countries...

P.S.

http://www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/index.shtm

This is an interesting website on 3G. On the following link you can:

-Click in the list on a country and check whether it has 3G enlisted... (for

Belgium they made a mistake. It should be " 3G 900/2100 " instead of " 3G 2100 " )

-Check on the map what kind of frequencies they use... Download the pdf's. If

the country is written in red letters it has got 3G. I kinda like Africa? ;-)

Here a list of some countries (I haven't checked all of them yet) that have got

no 3G at this moment, according to that website:

Albania

Argentina

Cuba

French West Indies

Haïti

India

Jamaica

Mali

Morocco

Russia (except Northwestern part)

San Marino

Thailand (3G is planned for the future )

Turkey

Vietnam

Yemen

Zimbabwe

Big Smile. This topic doesn't make me smile often but I have often kidded my

husband and said I would have to find others who are affected by EMS and buy

some land and live in an electromagnetic free commune. Also, with organic

farming.

Best of luck,

Jennie

I did not find your comments mocking. I think many of us have had the same

thoughts as you. I am a person who tends to be very animated when I talk and

write!! :) While I am a very responsible person I look at the positive and

lighter side of life. And I think if I didn't temper handling the struggles

that EMS, MCS and allergies have brought into my life with some humor I would

end up being depressed or chemical dependent. Even though our lives are

limited, they can still be full of joy and life!

Take care and best of luck,

Jennie

Hi ,

Yes maybe the problem could be what you're mentioning about the cellphone/GSM-

frequency. ..

By the way, it's not like I'm pessimistic or I haven't tried to heal myself. The

past 3 years I've done a lot to get better, and I'm still learning every day ;)

Puk replies - You may be reacting to what I call electromesh or perhaps

electromess ! the chaotic combination of all the emissions from the millions

of devices throwing out wireless data signals may for you have hit the

jackpot, its like that one arm bandit in the casino, keep pulling and sooner or

later you strike lucky or in this case unlucky and you are not evan pulling

the lever ! Maybe for you the specific sattelite arrays that orbit over

these countries along with the terestrial devices are affecting you in an

anomolous way. Have you tried metering or sheilding ? Also dont forget that

in the countryside often the power of mobiles and indeed the masts are

often set to greater levels to cover greater distances.
