Yes, my burning face gets worse with anything that raises glutathione levels, including Vitamin D. Guest guest
Thanks for this . It could be that for one year now, I have been raising glutathione, gently and slowly by taking its precursors. But last week, I saw an ND who prescribed an Ayurvedic mixture, to purify and cleanse the organs. Do you think this may have contributed to this super EMS and ES during the last few days? What with the spongy rubber flip flops, are not these suppose to protect from electricity? Agghhh, am now confused!! Kooky > > > Recently, I started developing, tingling and burning skin. Guest guest
Hi Marc: I forgot to ask, did you continue with raising your glut? or with vits and supps? Could it worsen these symptoms permanently? Surely, there must be a way of dealing with this? It is such a difficult decision as if to continue with vits and supps, and herbal remedy I am taking, because, I have noticed remarkable improvement. Unless of course, I am going through a good cycle... Thanks, Kooky PS. I was reading about calcium channels, action potential and various neuronal dysfunction. You may have to stop that mixture, and hopefully your symptoms will return to normal. I certainly have had to stop taking things that a doctor wanted me to take. > What with the spongy rubber flip flops, are not these suppose to protect > from electricity? The rubber prevents your body from discharging into the ground. I get shocks when wearing rubber soles, but I do not get shocks if I wear static dissipative soles. Yes, but I did have to cut back or discontinue some of the supplements which were causing me problems. > Could it worsen these symptoms permanently? I've had " treatments " which did cause semi-permanent damage, but most damage can eventually be overcome. Better to just stop whatever is causing the problem ASAP. > It is such a difficult decision as if to continue with vits and supps, > and herbal remedy I am taking, because, I have noticed remarkable > improvement. Unless of course, I am going through a good cycle... This was something I had noticed as well. When raising my glutathione, I was definitely " stronger " than usual, but my ES was so much worse that I had to cut back. Marc
Guest guest
Hi, Kooky, I have been off-line for awhile and am just reading recent posts--probably out of order. Sorry if someone has addressed this already. I have similar problems as yours--skin burning, tingling, etc (esp touching things, not just on face, as most here have), is a major symptom I have. I have it not just from ES, but also many chemicals, environmental, bacterial.... problems cause it, including glutens. I do find that B12 helps me with this symptom (and the symptom itself may be a type of peripheral neuropathy, which is associated with diabetes and celiac disease, both of which I have. This type of neuropathy is known to respond often to B12, and infact is usually caused by deficiency states caused by celiac d and diabetes.) Interestingly, tho, another forum member (Steph) found online that B12 excess can also CAUSE " vibrating " --also a similar symptom which I have in the past had problems with, which responds to B12 supplementation--and which is possibly also an associated neuropathic symptom. This is a common thing with nutrients--deficiencies and over-doses can have similar symptomology. The esp interesting thing was I found this to be true just recently when I tried a very high B12 supplement, prior to my father taking it. (I wanted to be sure it had active ingredients and he was not just taking faux B12.) It actually made my symptoms worse, temporarily! So, the moral here is, you have to experiment a bit to get your correct dose, or possibly B12 will contribute to your symptoms! Remember if you try B12, you will need probably a higher dose initially and then you will need to taper this off, over time. Now I take the B12 only when I have vibrating at night. (I still do have skin burning sometimes when I touch something my immune system perceives as threatening. After so long, this type of neuropathy can become somewhat permanent. But B12 does help my es facial and skin burning and the burning which cell towers, etc, bring on.) More to the point of this particular post--yes, the mixture you are taking to purify and cleanse the organs will make your symptoms much worse, temporarily. You are probably detoxing much more than you are used to. The detoxing also causes worse es symptoms as a whole. But you will find a month or so from now, you have much less skin burning and other symptoms, probably--at least, this is the way it works for me. But this improvement (for me, at least) doesn't last long usually. If you have built up toxins, you will possibly feel best taking this mixture on and off--take it awhile, take advantage of the good effects; then wait until you have return of symptoms and retake it again. As to the rubber flip-flops..... I too use rubber sole shoes--SOMETIMES. This can be a help or a hinderance and it helps to know what you are dealing with. If you have a tendency to be a person who takes on electric current, then the rubber shoes can sometimes help if you are in a high current place. (But I don't necessarily have to be touching a surface to take on electricity, so in that case, the rubber shoes do not help; also it is not at all helpful in an atmosphere where you would be discharging current if you were barefoot.) If I am using the rubber shoes, I also have need to use rubber gloves to handle particular things. Also it helps to go to a " clean " place in the forest to " off-load " your built-up electrical load. Sitting on the ground there (when it is dry enough), or hugging a tree (when it is too wet to sit)--not joking here--can help you discharge built up energies. You will want to leave the rubber shoes behind to do this. It takes me about 40 to 45 mins to discharge electricity and if I am not feeling better within 20 mins or so, I look for another spot to " discharge " . Sometimes, even deep in the forest, there are places of high ground currents and you will take on, instead of leave behind, electricity in these places. Hope this info is helpful, Diane From: furstc0404 <furstc@...> Subject: Re: Electrified anyone? Date: Tuesday, May 5, 2009, 3:29 AM Thanks for this . Guest guest
Hi again, Kooky, I believe very much that calcium ion channel defects and tight junction permeability contribute to es and cfs/me. (And celiac d. also has known association with tj permeability.) I have been researching this online for the past year. Diane From: furstc0404 <furstc@...> Subject: Re: Electrified anyone? Guest guest
Hi again, Kooky, I forgot to remind you of this--you always need to keep refiguring your supplements. You started out with deficiency states, more than likely. Overtime, you bring these into balance if you are taking the correct things in the right amounts. So, then you have to tweak your supplementation to stay in the correct balance. This is not an easy thing to do--sometimes we have ongoing problems which tie up particular nutrients, while other supplements find themselves getting into excess. Remember that often nutrients show the same or similar symptoms when being over supplemented as when in deficiency. So supplementation cannot be a static thing. Guest guest
To diane and Kooky - kooky I have just quickly scanned your original post and you mention taking an aruvedic remedy - you need to be careful and check what is in it - I could be wrong on this but I read somewhere that they can be high in either metals or arsenic - As I say I could be wrong but the mention of " aruvedic " is definitely ringing a cautionary bell with me. Guest guest
I concur. I think Ayurvedic medicine is very interesting, but I, too, have read reports of considerable amounts of samples being contaminated with heavy metals. Always good to see if you can find MSDS or other confirmations of the product's cleanliness. R. > > > > > Recently, I started developing, tingling and burning skin. Also, everyone should mention products that have made a difference for their ES, either in a good or bad way. Marc

Cellfood is the only thing I've used a lot over the years, and I do find it helpful for detox, increasing energy, and reducing allergies and chemical sensitivities. I can't say that I've noticed it helping with electrical sensitivities, and I also have to balance it with alkaline-forming foods/supplements because it is acidic. Certainly worth trying. As for proteolytic enzymes and hydrogen peroxide, certainly I have read articles from people who like these, but I never noticed proteolytic enzymes doing anything helpful, and I unpleasant reactions to hydrogen peroxide. Guest guest
Its funny you should mention that I was a particularly sensitive child as well , from other peoples emotion/feelings , to atmospheres/vibes/and ghosts. I think sesitivity in general is the key here. Which I think is a good thing. Were feeling it , because it is there. A. From all I read, it points to calcium ion channel. Now, I am reading about biodynamic devices which may counteract the ES/EMS. Have you read similar? Even when touch my aloe vera plant, lol, I get an electric shock!! Have you read research concerning ion calcium channels in general. My EMS is also very very sensitive to earth magnetism, in the sense, that any slight changes, such as sunset and sunrise affects me, and other phenomena, anyone else experience this? > > > > > Recently, I started developing, tingling and burning skin. Guest guest
Hi, Ada and Kooky, and us “shockersâ€,  Ada, I have always assumed this to be connected to a health problem I had from infancy--later dxed as celiac disease. I found this excerpt interesting, (the person is writing about Dr. Shoemaker, who spoke at a CFS conference):  “He said that some PWCs are very dehydrated because they urinate water out so rapidly. The osmolality of their blood thus runs very high, and their sweat is more concentrated in salts than that of cystic fibrosis patients, which were thought to be the highest of all. He said this causes them to conduct electricity very well, and accounts for why they experience static electricity shocks from light switches. He said they use their elbows to turn on light switches to avoid these shocks. They are able to stop Palm Pilots and watches by touching them.â€Â Where this excerpt originates from:  http://aboutmecfs.org/Conf/AACFS04Shoemaker.aspx  http://www.chronicneurotoxins.com/        (Dr Shoemaker’s site)  I could never wear a watch next to my skin from the time I was a child, either. When I was a child, in particular, I used to notice that my skin sparkled—I licked the back of my hand once and noticed it was salty. I also noticed the sparkle was gone after I licked it and I linked the two (salt and sparkle) even then. Since then, I have had extensive testing with extensive things having gone awry. For one of those—orthostatic hypotension—I was actually told to add salt to my diet. (And it helps.) But clearly there is something wrong which points a different direction than the need for dietary salt. It is interesting, tho, that there are also chloride ion channelopathies! Do you see where I am going here?  Diane From: furstc0404 <furstchotmail (DOT) com> Subject: Re: Electrified anyone? groups (DOT) com Date: Saturday, 9 May, 2009, 9:16 PM Hi Diane, we are on the same " wavelength " lol.
