Hi,

I am new to this site.

I have suffered from ES for a year and a half-mainly headaches and

sensations from tvs/vdus/mobiles/sensations from tvs/vdus/mobiles/<WB

lighting.

I am due to have an MRI scan for an injury but am worried that this may

make my condition worse? any ideas?

Thanks

Mathew

I was the same, had the scan and noticed nothing in particular,

other than the operator was a weirdo !

Thanks for the reply,it's just that I've heard that MRI can make ES worse-I

suppose that it all depends on the person,I'm not sure if I should risk it.

You say that you were like that-does this mean that your ES has improved?

Hi Mathew,

I had a MRI of my head, back when this began for me in 1993.

Strangely enough, I did not get noticably worse from it on that day.

I can only wonder how I would react today.

From the doctor's viewpoint, it was a useless test. No tumors.

No given your situation Its perfectly rational to have a degree of fear

relating to the MRI, since it is a device that relies heavily on EM energy. I

felt the fear and did it anyway as I have a lump in the hollow soft area behind

my left ear which eminates pain, I wanted to make sure that this was not a

tumour, apparently nothing showed on the MRI but despite my request for sight

and a run through of the scans in person this was never arranged, I still

have the lump and the pain. My ES has got worse in relation to using the

computer (Dell inspirion 1300 laptop) wether or not atached to an LCD screen or

CRT, which is a bummer since ES has led to me ditching office based work for

home based but still I am unwell, I would do well to stop using the computer,

but for the few hours that I do I can pay off the monthly bills however these

few hours make my life a misery, so it has to stop but with that so to my last

scource of income, Still - the possibilities are endless

I have been looking at this recently but have come to the conclusion that

unless you have high ceilings and loads of space you will find yourself

introducing another highly elctrically noisy appliance in your imediate

vicinity,

you still have the problem of how to operate the pc, say on longer wires etc

but cables/wires seem to emit like long ariels, so you would need to screen

these and so on. I would give it a go if I had the space, but they are very

expensive - That said if you were to go down this route try the LED lit

projectors.

I am thinking of picking up an old laptop on the cheap to see wether it

would be better than my Dell, some laptops are more tolerable thn others I

find.

it costs money though,...
