8 yr old ashly had hand surgery wed. for tendons etc

hi all....so i don't have to keep writing same info over...i'm

cheating.....

as you know ashly had surgery wednesday on her hand. they went in the

hand and then had to page me because she had carpaltunnel pretty bad,

muscles in thumb were wasted...so they needed my permission to

remove it- release the carpal tunnel.... and then they released her

a-1 pulleys, another set of xxx (can't remember name)tendons,

superficalis in 3 fingers..... a lot more extensive then right hand.

she had problems breathing when she came out- and that night her

oxygen went down because of narcotics and so they rushed in around

midnight and threw oxygen mask on her....she is ok now...pain....and

lots of swelling!!!

we are on a weekend pass- monday we go back for the week- so they can

do therapy 4x a day- so we will be in patient from 8-5 each day, go

home to sleep. and come back the next day.

we will have to go back in for the knuckles as they are done from top

of hand instead of palm...

but she actively moved her fingers some....looks like it worked as

long as we do the therapy and keep her medicated til healing...

yea!!!!!!
