Guest guest
Hi All, Im finally able to get some coconuts for oil extraction and immature ones for the coconut juice(to ferment with water kefir grains),so what I would like to know please is: what is the process that would be needed to make a batch that would enable me to gain 2 liters at a time using the fermentation / refrideration method ?. How do I know when the coconuts are ready to be used? When you can hear the water swishing around inside? Still green, but getting ready to go brown? My guess for the process is:I would have to get the meat somehow, and grind it to a paste. As I understand it,if the mixture is left it will naturally ferment. Then after the fermentation period ( 8 hours? ),put the mixture in the fridge which will seperate the mixture. Anyway this is my guess, but if someone can set me right as to the right way...thanks a lot.
