Guest guest Posted January 4, 2006 Report Share Posted January 4, 2006 The reason why they put it in a chiller because it is easier to harvest. Once your mixture is chilled the oil part will immediately become solid together with the protein part but the water part will not. so when you take out the " solid " part which is the oil already, you are almost sure that the water part is left behind.
