Dr.Fife,

I was wonder about your product non-stick coconut oil.

can you pls tell me about its usage.

Is it can be used for deep frying purpose also?

RAO,

I developed a new cooking oil based on coconut oil while I was writing

the book Cooking with Coconut Flour. I don’t use cooking sprays or

unsaturated oils in cooking. I prefer to use coconut oil for both frying

and baking. The problem with coconut oil is that it is not the best oil

to use to prevent sticking. Even when you coat a pan with coconut oil

and dust it with flour the breads, cakes, and other baked goods tend to

stick. So I developed a new coconut oil that is completely non-stick,

much like the non-stick cooking sprays you see in the store, but this

one is healthy! And it works wonderfully! Breads, cakes, muffins, etc.

slip out of pans with ease and clean up is a breeze. All I have to do is

wipe the pan clean. It takes about 5 seconds. Even black burnt on batter

wipes off immediately. No sticking whatsoever! It is absolutely the best

non-stick oil I have ever used.

I developed the oil primarily to be used in baking. However, it can be

used for sautéing or light frying, but not for deep frying. Ordinary

coconut oil is better for that purpose, deep frying doesn’t need a

non-stick oil.

I talk about the oil in Cooking with Coconut Flour and I mention it in

the newest updated edition of my Coconut Lover’s Cookbook. Until a few

months ago, I was the only one on earth who had this oil. People kept

asking me for it and it was too good to be kept to myself. So I needed

to have a way for people to get the oil. I asked Wilderness Family

Naturals if they would produce the oil but they told me it would require

too much effort to produce. I then asked Simply Coconut and they were

very happy to oversee the production and marketing of the product. The

name we came up with was Dr. Fife’s Non-Stick Cooking Oil. So if you are

interested you can get my non-stick cooking oil from HYPERLINK

" http://www.simplycoconut.com/ " www.simplycoconut.com. What little money

I get from the sales of this product all goes to help support my

non-profit Coconut Research Center.

I’m starting to get testimonials from people using it, not only for its

non-stick properties but its health properties as well. One lady was so

excited she had to come to my office and tell me her story. She suffered

from arthritis in her fingers for years. She showed me her disfigured

fingers. She bought some of the non-stick cooking oil and began using it

and within less than a week all her arthritic pain was gone! With a big

smile on her face she lifted her hands and wiggled all her fingers. “No

pain at all”, she exclaimed. She didn’t take it by the spoonful, she

just used it in her day to day cooking. The oil also has some good

neurological (brain/memory) benefits. It could be marketed as a

therapeutic oil but my main purpose was for food preparation.

RAO,

The non-stick oil contains phosphatidylcholine. This is a very important

nutrient that is used in the brain. It is commonly sold as a dietary

supplement to prevent dementia and improve mental function. This is

based on many studies and is being used for Alzheimer’s patients. The

source for phosphatidylcholine is generally soybeans. This does not mean

it is a poison or harmful. Soy contains many healthful components,

unfortunately it also has some undesirable components as well.

Phosphatidylcholine is one of good ones. What makes soy undesirable are

the proteins which have a negative effect on hormone balance and thyroid

function. Also, I don’t like soybean oil because it is highly

polyunsaturated.
