Guest guest
I don't think anyone defined " superfood " ; it's just a buzzword. I think " nutritionally dense with important attributes " would cover it but it almost sounds redundant already as nutrition IS an important attribute. Private school with a little latin, insatiable curiosity, science majors, a later focus on biology, and an ability to efficiently sift through the gravels to extract nuggets of information, and diligence pays off in this area, especially if you make the time to make doing it a focal point. Thanks to the Internet, all of us can look up what we need to know in five minutes and do some pretty deep learning in days. I'm not unique either; it's getting pretty common with millions of people doing it in English alone, every day.
