Hello Folks:

Is there anything special about whey? What is in it that makes it a valuable

food? I suppose if I have Lactose Intolerance I can't use it. Oh boy.

Every morning now, I throw a few frozen berries, usually raspberries or

blueberries into the large cup of the bullet mixer. I add a serving of

undenatured whey (whatever amount it says on the label). I add a tablespoon

freshly ground flax seed, a teaspoon of psyllium husks, 12 grams inulin, a

tablespoon or so VCO, 1 gm vit C powder and top the cup up with homemade

yoghurt and water if I think it's too thick. I blend the lot and that's my

breakfast. Lately, I've only been managing half of it so the other half's my

lunch.

I've no idea if all these are the right things to add but when i was quite

ill, I could keep this down and felt at least I was getting a lot of what I

needed. Now I just really like it and it saves me thinking in the morning

before my brain wakes up :-)
