Guest guest
I have a question about cayenne ingestion. I love that pepper, would put it in my eggs, on my pizza etc, if I knew it would do me good. I even found a good cayenne pepper hard candy recipe, to suck on when you have cold etc. I could never get used to drinking it as a tea, tried it many different ways and no no no. So can you simply eat it with your foods for the same effect? I know I sweat like a trooper when I eat it. Thanks for any and all answers! I would love your hard candy receipe if you still have it. Thanks Sally
Guest guest
Hi Susie When I first started with cayenne I hated it. It didn't taste of anything in plain hot water, it was just foul hotness. I then decided to add a teabag and some sweetener. I'm now up to a full rounded teaspoon at a time (and far hotter stuff than I started with) and, do you know what? I love it now. You might want to try. Guest guest
>So can you simply eat it with your foods for the same effect?< Some foods will bind/negate it, such as dairy, but others may boost it. Go for it. Get cayenne any way you can. A friend gave us some wonderful Christmas fudge. I sprinkled Cayenne all over it and loved it that way. Cayenne goes great with chocolate and coffee. She said I was nuts. I said that was beside the point:) Daddybob
