Guest guest
Vandana, Debbie's suggestion on goat milk is a good alternative. i use to drink cow milk from amish farms. One such is sold as " Farmers all natural creamery milk " . Since last one year it is not available in florida. So i had to switch to raw goat milk. The medium chain triglycerides (MCT) in goat milk are similar to the MCT of VCO and this makes goat milk easy to digest. i store the raw milk in fridge and heat just before drinking. I even had raw before which is still easy to digest. The enzymes in milk get destroyed upon heating and makes it difficult to digest. There is only one in million chance to get bacterial infection from raw milk, so it is upto the person to decide. You may try the buffalo milk yogurt from the Woodstock farm, this goes well with me. Their Vermont maple is a must for my breakfast along with goat milk. I did some search on why i could tolerate the amish milk and not the raw organic milk from other farms. And found that iodine injections are given to cows even raised on organic feed and/ only grass fed. The excess iodine is passed into the milk. People with acne need to avoid this kind of milk. Also stopping the use of iodized salt may help you. Also there are different type of protein in the cow type A1 and A2, which may be the cause. About kombucha: i use to make my own kombucha till i moved to another place, this place i share with one other person and want to aviod the smell. Kombucha is very good source of vitamin Bs and probiotics. But these acidic drinks to some extent drain the body of vitamin B12 in some people. And such people do not get the desired benefits from Kombucha. If you feel light headed and less energetic after drinking kombucha for 2 weeks, you may want to stop this. Or taking sublingual B12 for one week every month can help. Use the tea only from tips for making tips, one such tea is PG TIPS, available online and some european/indian grocery stores. Fluoride does the same what iodine does for acne, so you may want to stop using the regular toothpaste. Get VICCO toothpaste from any indian grocery store. Look for the expiry date, Often old products are not removed from the shelf in such stores. You can send me the name of your city and the county and i will look for if your tap water is fluoridated. If so then you have to start drinking and cooking in reverse osmosis RO treated water, any ordinary filters like Brita etc. don't remove fluoride. 'www.fluoridealert.org'. I have a RO filter at home i bought 1 years back, still giving me 99% rejection of salts. These are maintenance free filters. Cost about $400. Or alternatively you can buy purified water from sams or costco. Don;t drink the spring water, most of the springs in the southern US are contaminated with pesticides. Initially you can experiment by drinking and cooking in the 'Sams Choice' water for a week and see the difference. If this denefits you then do this all your life time. I am so much sensitive to fluoride that i could not even take shower in the tap water, used the RO water, heated it on the gas for one year, now i moved to a non-fluoridated community about 15 miles from my work place. All rashes and itching after taking shower are gone. Don't use ordinary soap or use the glycerine soap for bathing. This is available for $1.09 in whole foods. Other soaps leach our skin of the good oil. Also if you are working in any chemical laboratory, you may want to see that the chemicals are stored in ventilated zone. And there is much more, i am writing this from my own experience, i suffered like hell for 3 years. If you want to know more, you can call me on weekends. i need to start my work for the week. Also track the hurrican. i can give you my phone number for more info. thanks natish Debbie Mcdonald <belynor@...> wrote: raw goat milk is much better for you. --- vapurohit <vandana.purohit@...> wrote: i just started having > milk again 2 > days ago. but this time, it is raw, unpasteurized > milk from an > amish farm that raises jersey/normande cows. --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice. I skipped a couple chapters on the science part that was just too confusing for me. but i borrowed it from the library and will be purchasing it. I have slacked seriously in the coconut department. I think because it's not new to me anymore and I am in a MAJOR FMS flair up. and fainting constantly. fell down the stairs last night. so gingerly putting vco on my leg and side. I am just banged up a bit. but hoping to make some stuff with cf today. we'll see. Stuck --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean. Guest guest
for now I am trying to take it easy get some laundry done and just take it easy today. have an appointment with a new neurologist and may be seeing a heart doctor. I just haven't been eating coco nut much lately, i ate a whole one last week, but didn't feel any affects from it. Thanks all for the advise. Stuck [lists] Re: Re: VCO on face i just began reading it. went straight to the 'fats' section as that is very interesting subject to me. oh..and the skin care section but then i gave it to my bf, who'se mom just had a major stroke:( he's always at the hospital so i wanted to give him something to pass his time. right now i apply vco to my face and body after shower. and have 2 tbsp daily with my meals. it's just so easy..when you say you are slacking on vco what do you mean? get your 2 tbspoons in girl! haha. but seriously..i'm sorry you fell and so sorry to hear about your fainting, etc. must be very tough! hope some of the advice you got from this forum will help you. seems many people had suggestions on what could be causing your problem..and what you could do about the problem..i know i gave some diet advice but i also understand not everything works for everyone. i still think, however, that the chicken bone broth recipe in nourishing traditions will make a marked difference in your health. but that's just my opinion. hope you try it! did you find anyone's tips useful? if vco doens't give you any bad reactions..i think you should continue it...atleast the 2 tbspns. that's not so hard is it? vandana in wash d.c. > > Hi Have you read " the miracle of coconut oil " by Bruce Fife? Guest guest
Thanks , this one looks like an Australian Co., there are some coconut soaps available on internet, first i will look thru grocery stores in orlando (florida), if not then order thru internet. thanks natish k8teeth <stonesigns@...> wrote: Hi Natish, The link is below. However Im not sure about freight to where you are.I have told some here about this companies oil,but when i checked with them about supply, they said that freight to the US would make it to expensive. You can email them and see what it would cost. They told me they are going to start up in the US through a distributor and this will cut the cost of freight by a lot.Not sure when that will happen. http://www.buyhealthy.net/gallery3AUD.htm --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Guest guest
shinnycars, hi POLAND SPRING is the best drinking water that is available in the NE states. in florida we have vending machines with RO filters in grocery stores, so we get quality of distilled water for 25to 30 cents per gallon. In addition to drinking poland spring or RO water, it is important that we cook or steam vegetables in the same water. Do this for 10 days and find the difference yourself. the 365 brand glycerine soap from whole foods is inexpensive option those who don't want to buy the goat milk or coconut milk soap. In india coconut tree is called 'kalpa-vriksha' kalpa=life, vriksha=tree, the tree for life. Every part of coconut tree can be put to use for mandkind, in environmentally sustainable way. natish shinycars14 <shinycars14@...> wrote: >Debbie's suggestion on goat milk is a good alternative. i use to drink cow milk from amish farms. Or >alternatively you can buy purified water from sams or costco. >Don;t drink the spring water, most of the springs in the southern >US are contaminated with pesticides. I have to take issue with this. I am a BIG water drinker and have to by neccessity as I lost my saliva glands from a medical procedure (no fault - just happened) so I have to sip water all day. Tap, Purified, Distilled or Spring or Filtered Tap are our choices. My #1 water for a long-time was RO Purified water (bottled) because I felt this was the best choice. Tap was definitely out, distilled not good for long-term use, and the Spring water (store brands) I had tried tasted no better than Tap to me. One day I happened upon some books by an Austrian inventor and researcher named Viktor Schauberger. He did research on many types of free energies, and particularly what this planet could be doing to harness the energies into everyday use. One of his subjects was WATER. He says that ALL water except NATURAL SPRING WATER is overly- processed and in fact DEAD. Whereas a natural Spring water has LIFE! including nature's minerals and ingedients still in it. All waters except Spring are taken from their natural state and processed, processed, processed to bring about Purified, Distilled and Tap waters. Yes store bought Spring is also processed to remove contaminants, but I believe much less than the other waters. There is a group for Schauberger so I joined and asked them " What's the best water for drinking? " They said a High-Quality Spring water, preferably in glass bottles. Well I wasn't going to buy glass-bottled water or spend a fortune on it, so I settled for a High-Quality Spring Water. I'm in the USA and after trying some different brands - Poland Spring is my #1 best-tasting water - IT IS REALLY GOOD. Deer Park was 2nd, Dannon was fair but not even close to PS. Also I noticed since changing from Purified to a HQ Spring that I FEEL much better! There is LIFE in that Spring water I'm convinced. Guest guest
I have to agree here, i am very pale and always used sun blocks even found a 50, but none worked as well as straight CO. seems silly to try to be healthy but still purposely put toxins in you? guess it's up to personal preference, expeierence and knowledge. to each their own, t makes the world turn. Stuck [lists] Re: Re: VCO on face Hey there, I'm SORRY, but I have to object. Have you read ANY of Dr. Fifes books? Why would I go to the trouble to clean up my diet, change the foods that I eat, the oils that I use, and THEN turn around and put ALL THOSE CHEMICALS ON MY SKIN!!!!???? NO WAY, JOSE!!!!! The skin acts like a sponge...what ever you put on it, gets absorbed in to YOUR BODY!!! There's NO WAY I'm putting that CR_ _ on MY body! Couldn't help but to respond...
