Guest guest Posted December 27, 2004 Report Share Posted December 27, 2004 It is possible to make ice cream without an ice cream maker by using an electric whisk and a tupperware box ... and a freezer! Delia suggests that you freeze your ice cream mixture in a shallow tupperware/sturdy plastic box in the freezer for two hours, then whisk all the forming ice crystals with your hand-held electric blender until smooth again. Repeat this operation one or two times more and you should be left with smooth ice cream.
