Guest guest
Obesity/overweight is not the cause of these health problems. It is only one more symptom. Many people that are obese, that change eating habits, especially when switching to a low carb diet, feel the benefits rather quickly although they are still quite overweight. There are many people that are overweight according to weight charts and BMI that are very healthy and have none of the " symptoms " that supposedly afflict obese people. Football players, bodybuilders and people of higher bone density and heavy musculature are naturally going to weigh more and are considered " overweight " . If being overweight was the sole source of these afflictions then, thinner people wouldn't also get them which of course they do. J.B.
