Guest guest
Carol~ wow~ that is a lot of acidophilus. Instead of taking all those a person may prefer smaller amounts of lacotobacillus since it is the only probiotic that survives stomach acids and goes directly to the gut where it eats yeast. Its expensive ,tho, at nearly a $1 a piece, but it is tough; http://www.culturelle.com/aboutlactobacillusGG.html warmly,,,jill
Guest guest
Sorry that article I posted was extremely hard to read - all mushed up together - at least that's the way it came through to me - I'm on digest. If you want an easier copy to read, go to the coconut oil group website and read Message #13443 Carol
Guest guest
That's a therapeutic level - you wouldn't take that many all the time, just until the problem clears. Lactobacillus IS acidophilus - there are so many lactobacillus acidophilus products on the market that don't survive stomach acid. The only strain that has been shows to survive is " lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1 strain " , and is also an antibacterial.
