Guest guest
Jackie, diabetic feet are easy to cure when you know how. I know three people who have saved their feet from amputation by simply rubbing ozonated olive oil onto their diabetic foot ulcers. No more debridement, which is just a fancy way to say the doctor repeatedly pares away tissue until most of the foot is gone. That being said, ozonated olive oil is a local treatment so does not increase circulation and oxygenation to the whole limb; it will heal the ulcer 100% of the time but is not a permanent fix. A permanent fix would entail ozone limb bagging and metabolic enzymes. Of the two treatments, the enzymes is the most important because it reduces some of the inflammation and most of the microcirculation blockages that are causing the inability to heal. As a diabetic your dad should be aware that without elevating the master antioxidant glutathione he'll always be in danger, as nearly all diabetic complications are relevant to oxidative stress,. which causes inflammation, arterial plaque build up and organ fibrosis. To increase glutathione he'll take 70 grams undenatured whey and aboput 400 mcg selenium daily: http://tinyurl.com/cuzcc BlockBuster All Clear is a metabolic enzyme blend that works in days to increase circulation by reducing inflammation, fibrosis, clots and excess blood coagulation by dissolving it. He should notice a difference in circulation in just days. http://www.goodhealth.nu/us/1400 Here's where I get my ozonated olive oil, a thick white paste to cure the drug-resistant ulcers and locally oxygenate the area to heal it quickly (this last part honey does not do). A great stopgap measure. http://www.plasmafire.com email saul@... Together this treatment will work 100% of the time even on fairly large drug-resistant ulcers. Guest guest
Duncan, I went to http://www.plasmafire.com but could find no info on ozonated olive oil. All I saw was expensive high tech gadgets. Alobar On 2/21/07, Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: > Jackie, diabetic feet are easy to cure when you know how. Guest guest
Jackie, here's another " remedy " you can try for your father's foot ulcer. My mother used to get bad cellulitis on her legs, and the hospital showed me how to do an " Una boot " (not sure if that's how it's spelled) wrapping around her legs. The main " ingredient " is a gauze-type wrap that has zinc oxide in it. It was kind of like using " plaster-of-paris, " which is something artists use for sculpting. (Can you tell I'm a professional artist?) Then there's a wrap of a regular white gauze, then a brown, stretchy-type wrap that went on last. Now, I'm not recommending you go to all that trouble. But for the minor cellulitis that I have, I use full-strength zinc oxide. Cellulitis, if you don't know the term, can lead to ulcers on the leg. My mother had a lot of trouble with " bed sores, " every time she went in the hospital, 'cause they didn't keep her turned often enough. The first time she came home from the nursing home they sent her to after her heart attack, she had a HUGE open wound on her butt, right over the coccix (pronounced cok-six)bone, which is right at the top of your " butt crack, " and the base of your spine. The hole she had was about an inch and a half " triangle. " The first night I brought her home and saw it, I said, " Oh, Mom, I don't know how to fix that. " I couldn't believe they could have let it get so big. Mom said we could use zinc oxide on it to help it heal. So what we did was to clean it with the cleansing spray the hospital gave us to clean her heart bypass incision, then I put zinc oxide around the outside edges of her wound, then put a 4x4 " sponge, " which is a big gauze bandage, to cover it and taped it on. We did that same routine every night, like clockwork, for about a month, and gradually got it healed. I was so proud of myself. So, you can try zinc oxide on your dad's foot ulcer. Safeway carries full-strength zinc. It's called Diaper Relief Ointment, and you find it in the baby products section. Clean the wound, first, with a cleanser spray that's specifically for open wounds. Just spray a little on the wound, and dab it with a clean sponge (gauze). Then put the zinc only around the edges, and cover it with a 2x2 or 4x4 sponge, depending on how large the ulcer is, and tape it on with cloth bandage tape. Just do that every night, and you should be able to get it to heal. It'll probably take awhile, like my mother's did, depending on how big it is, but it will work. Like I said, I use it on my legs, too, and it does a great job of getting the tiny little " blisters " I get to heal. They start out as bumps with fluid underneath. Then they " pop " and become little open sores. Now, because they're so small--maybe only a quarter inch at the most--I put the zinc on the whole spot, not just around the edges. The zinc helps to dry the sores, as well as heal them. You know, some of the best remedies for things are the old " home remedies " that are grandparents used. Zinc oxide has been around for a long time. Mostly now, it's just used for diaper rash. So, anyway, that's my suggestion for you. Give it a try, if nothing else works. This I know will work for sure. Take care. Cryss > > My father who is 75 has a foot ulcer. the size of a dime.
