Yes dr mercola even wrote a book on how bad artififial sweetners are. my mom

justfinished reading it. it's insane

http://www.mercola.com/2000/dec/3/sucralose_dangers.htm

this is the book my mom read

http://www.amazon.com/Sweet-Deception-Splenda-NutraSweet-Hazardous/dp/0785221794\

Pretty sad what people will believe,s ometimes I think people are just cows

getting hurded to the feed not knowing or tryiing to know better that the feed

may not be the best, not everyone by any means, but it just seems like humans

can be soo stupid or ignorant. if it's on teh shelves than it can't be posion or

hurtful as long as not takenm in access, but who's to know what acces sis. sure

everyone knows 20 twinkies is goingt ogive yo a belly ache, but what about 1?

it' s just like the drinking ads, one too many is too much. I personally don't

agree with the atkins diet. I finally got my boyfriend ( now husband) to realize

the dangers even though it was shrinking him, it wasn't ina good way. and I have

read soo much sonce then that suports ita nd then some. There will be those who

agree with it and may do fine for a while, but it's just ery scary, everyone is

alloud thier oppinion and their life style. :) low carb I think should be

labeled bad card or good carb.

Anyone know why it's so hard to find whole milk yogurt? Stonyfield is the only

one that makes it adn no flavors,e verything is fat free or law fat. YUCK!

joy. well better get lunch. :)

What dangers?

even though it was shrinking him, it wasn't ina good way

What wasn't in a good way?

but it's just ery scary,

What is scary?

I ask again what dangers, what isn't good and what is scary about a diet of

fresh meat, fish, dairy and veg with *some* nuts and *some* fruits thrown

in?

everyone is alloud thier oppinion and their life style. :) low carb I think

And what would you decide is a good carb and why? What would you decide is a

bad carb and why? And what reasonas and evidence would you give for this?

Anyone know why it's so hard to find whole milk yogurt?

Plenty of it available in the UK. I love it.

,

Make sure the whole milk you dring is not homogenized and or ultra

pasturized. Raw milk is best but if you don't have access to raw

milk pasturized whole milk from grass fed animals is the next best

think.

Thanks for the advice. I did hear that grass fed is animals is best.

I have wanted to use raw milk but I have been afraid. But now that I

am so full of coconut oil, raw milk should be safe.

Let me tell you about the raw milk I drink. .We have to travel to the mountains

of South Carolina from the coast of North Carolina, a good days trip to get our

raw milk from a certified dairy, so we only make the trip every 3 months. I get

36 gallons at a time . Half of it goes in the freezer and half in the

refrigerator. The milk in the refrigerator lasts us 6 weeks without going sour.

I havent had that kind of luck with other sources of raw milk but the award

winning SC dairy I use is pretty special . He milks his cows 2-3 times a day.

He has modern collection methods including a cooling system that cools it

immediately .And we are careful to Use alot of Ice in the large coolers we bring

it home in.

Pasturized milk wont last a week without souring. So which milk has more of a

chance to have unhealthy bacteria in it?

IN NC

So true. Actually, Pasteurized milk doesn't sour, it PUTRIFIES. Raw

milk goes almost pleasantly sour. I admire your perseverance to get

REAL milk. I am lucky here in CA where I can just go to the store

and buy it whenever I want. I wouldn't touch Pasteurized milk with a

10 foot pole.
