Like the milk and the oats, sugar raises insulin therefore causing the sugar to be stored as fat in your body. Just try cutting out the carbs and see what that does. The elderly and people who eat carbs have a particular problem with metabolic rate because the secrete less HGH. I would ditch the oats, increase HGH release with SomaLife gHP, and choose a more demanding workout. Occasionally, thyroid output and metabolic rate is slowed by toxin load too and using undenatured whey and selenium will increase metabolism as well as produce glutathione, your body's main detoxifier. Selenium also supports the thyroid. Consider some liver flushes too to increase liver function as well as toxin purging into the stool. The antioxidants, inulin prebiotic, selenium and undenatured whey all reduce toxin load and/or production.
