Guest guest
Hi there, I'm new to the group and have been " lurking " for a couple weeks now. I've learned a lot of interesting information so far! Anyway, I just got my first jar of coconut oil (from Dr. Mercola's site) and today is the first time I tried any. I decided to scramble two eggs in it (probably 1.5 teaspoons or so). I must say, the taste will take some getting used to. It was good, but different to have a coconutty flavor in my eggs! (will everything taste like coconut if I start cooking with it?) However, I didn't try anymore today because ever since I ate those eggs this morning I have been suffering from really bad indigestion. I NEVER get indigestion unless I am pregnant (nope, I'm not). This feels as awful as it was when I was pregnant. Uck. I've been " bringing it up " all day long. Nothing I eat at this point is helping. I thought coconut oil was supposed to help these kinds of things, not bring them on! Has this happened to anyone before? Any ideas as to why I would get such bad indigestion when I am not normally prone to this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
