Guest guest
no i kept the milk i threw out the meat. but that is cool to know about the oil S. [lists] Re: coconut pulp question That coconut milk you threw out could be your " coconut oil " . freeze your extra coconut milk. the portion that will become solid will be the " oil " from that milk, discard the portion that did not solidify, thats the water part. Thaw the solid portion and when it liquifies, thats already your VCO. Just filter off the solid parts. My husbands Gramma used to make candy with it, but we try to not eat sugar here. Any ideas? ( Hubby is Dominican) thanks S. --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean. Guest guest
I am new to coconut oil etc. but I would think it would be good for baking or cooking with. Only thing I am wasteing is the shell. I drink the coconut water, eat the coconut in chunks, also chop or shred for on top of a salad etc. I have made a coconut paste with my coffee grinder. It is great. Just what did you do to get all the milk out of the meat. I have seen the pictures of the grinders. They look scarry. I am assumeing you people that want the grinders are doing more than on coconut at a time for your own use. I only do one coconut at a time and use a hammer and screw driver to make the holes then drian out water and then ask my husband to use the hammer on the coconut to break it. It is easy weh only doing one at time. Wonder what you need to make coconut milk. Enjoy your coconuts. God bless . > > Stuck <Sstuck@...> wrote: > My family and I just made coconut milk I threw out the left over coconut just before I thought " hmm I could have used that somehow?
