Broken Glass ~ cinnamon 'fire' candy

Powdered Sugar

3 ¾ cup Sugar

1 ¼ cup light Karo corn syrup

1 cup water

Red food coloring

1 tsp cinnamon oil flavoring (Available at pharmacy's) We used 1 ¼ tsp for more

heat

Sprinkle powdered sugar on 1-11x15 " cookie sheet and spread it out.

Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy saucepan and stir over medium heat

until sugar dissolves. Continue to cook without stirring for about 35 minutes.

When it starts to turn a light brown, its done.

Remove from heat and add food coloring. Stir. Add oil flavoring. Stir

thoroughly. Pour onto cookie sheet and let cool completely. Break into small

pieces.
