You bought the extra virgin coconut oil, there are some virgin ones that

have had the flavor steamed out of them. I use Agateguard (coconut flavor) and

Ritzcoco (flavor removed), which i buy off ebay. I fry in the tasteless

stuff and use the flavored in all of my baking, fudge making fudge, etc. I

fried eggs in the extra virgin once too, bleck!
