Guest guest
Hi, my son Danny who is two and a half, was born with Achondroplasia. So far, I have been able to find clothes that fit him without being altered, but I know soon I will have to make adjustments. I know this probably is a dumb question, but how do I find out how to do this? I don't have time for a sewing class, and I don't want his clothes to look like his Mom hemmed them, you know what I mean? I want them to look professional, like they would if he bought them from the store. Can anyone recommend a good sewing machine, and a beginner book maybe that would help me out? I really appreciate it. We have six sons altogether, Danny being the youngest. He was very ill his first year, in the hospital a lot, and and on oxygen. We thought he was going to have to have surgery for a compressed foramen magnum. Some of you may remember my frantic posts at that time! I am happy to say that he did not need the surgery, and he is doing very well now, walking everywhere and learning to talk. We all love him so very much, and are so thankful for the richness he has brought to our lives, and for meeting such wonderful people in LPA. Blessings, Marcy Garrett
