Over steamed veggies, cooking eggs, stir fry, on WW pancakes, in smoothies, as a

garlic spread or Italian dipping oil are just a few ways. Others include

coating a chicken to bake, in biscuits, frying veggie dumplings and in candies.

We don't use very many other oils so whereever it calls for it we now use the

coconut oil.

I've decided my most favourite way of using coconut oil is in rice. It

really compliments it. The rice soaks it up and it goes down easier.

With some things it tastes to oily but not with rice.

What is your 'most favourite' way of using it. It will compile a good

list for newbies to use when they ask

I use a couple of tablespoons on my toast....then cinnamon and sweetner or

a nut butter...this makes a good snack too.

Chocolate candy.

On veggie's especially corn on the cob, yummy

In place of butter for just about anything.

Sally, one of my favorites with VCO is to make waffles with the CO and

they come out very crispy. Then I load up the waffle with more VCO

and agave syrup. Yum!!

Happy New Year to all-I hope this is the year we can all reach our

goals and take the time to enjoy all our blessings. Barb

I mix a tablespoon of a mixture of coconut oil and coconut milk and put

it in my evening tea. This is really good with an evening snack of

strawberries and gouda.

My favorite smoothies consist of a handfull of spinach,

a carrot, some oranges, frozen fruit from summer in the freezer~

either blueberries, strawberries or blackberries,a lemon, a glob of

raw honey, a big glob of vco oil, some flax seed, acidophilus and

ginger root. Sometimes I also put raw egg in it(of ocurse not a

store bought egg but our fresh organic eggs) . Then I fill the

blender w/ ice~ about 6 cubes and swirl.

~ I also love coconut oil for cooking popcorn! num num!

I cook my breakfast cereals in Coconut milk..even grits, farina, cream

of wheat or oatmeal. I do a mixture of about 50 percent water and 50

percent Coconut Milk. I also like a bit of shredded coconut with

chopped prunes and nuts as a toping. Sweetened with maple syrup. Yum!!

I also love mixing coconut oil with a few drops of Braggs liquid

aminos and pouring over my warm steamed veggies.
